The most impressive thing is that anyone can launch an agent that can just 'be themselves'. Many startups built this in the past, but this time we have the 'native apps' of personal clones. I think it kicked off and started a new era of GPT Creator Economy.

Enjoyed the video - I didn’t have time to watch the full presentation so really liked your takeaways from it, would love to see more of these takeaways from major conferences / news etc with ur perspective :)

Great video, Sean. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I was also impressed yesterday when I was able to make several GPTs for various purposes in just a few minutes. It’s an incredibly powerful creation platform.
I wonder if maybe one clue for moving ahead might be found in what you talked about near the end of your video, about how large companies and society as a whole are slow to adapt to AI. The creators who saw their startups evaporate on Monday when Sam Altman made his announcements were those with products that exist only on computer and smartphone screens. The farther you get away from the digital world and the deeper you get into meatspace, the more you encounter problems that cannot be solved with just more powerful AI. If I were young enough to think about starting a business, one that wouldn’t be wiped out by the next announcement from OpenAI or Google or Apple, that’s where I would be looking.

Thanks Tom for your comment! And agreed that when we are digging deeper into a specific vertical and building a tool that fits their user workflow, getting wiped out is not as easy as a generic tool that helps you talk to a PDF. I think that's the exciting part of this wave of GenAI which is the generic tools for AI will keep getting updated pushed by these tech giants and VC money and then smaller business ideas could be focused on solving their own domain problem. Great insight Tom!

Loved your video Sean! The “lost” feeling hit right at home, both in large company and startup world. I wonder if we look back into history on the first wave of app development with Android or IOS, what are some of the takeaways we have for creators now with GPT store?
