An excellent interview. Even though it was a long one but I just kept watching because Dr. Anjila Shah threw so much light on the life and times of two great doctors of our valley. Besides being exceptionally qualified in their respective fields, they had one great quality (which not many doctors have) in them and that is human compassion. I happened to know them quite closely, especially Dr. Naseer Sahab and both of them were exceptionally GREAT HUMAN BEINGS. Really enjoyed listening to Dr. Shah, she is so serene, articulate and there is that high degree of honesty and care in her spoken words. And her eyes conveyed how she must be missing her parents. May the Almighty bless her and her family and keep them all happy, at peace and above all in good health in years ahead.
I had great privilege to have known Dr Naseer ,as my mom was his patient for almost a decade & he visited her at our home in Rainawari ,that was very Rarely Dr Naseer would visit any patients residence We met again approximately after 26 yrs in Jmu,at my Mama ji house,where few leading doctors were invited for a Private dinner, where I saw Tina first time having heard about her from my little sister Sanjana Rambal, Tina knew my daughter,Eisha, by name though, having heard stories about her from Sanjana ,when she was only 2 to 3yrs old ,and Tina & Eisha met first time face to face,seeing Tina after 1997,is a pleasure
I met Dr Naseer after 26 yrs at my Mama ji's home after 26 yrs, after my mom had passed away, and to my utter surprise he recognized me inquiring about my well being
Excellent exposition, dear Tina. I am sure both the souls would be proud of their legacy so aptly symbolized by your persona. Misusing say, you surprised me with your extraordinary maturity of thought and expression. Typically, like your great Dad-cool, composed and substantial. Should I say I have ‘discovered’ you today? Not that you were a stranger but perhaps because of our generational gap I took you as routinely as I take Wasim and Hina. I recognize their maturity and yet like to feel ‘mein unka baap hoon’.
It was pure surprise to have come across this interview. I was a medical student ,from Kerala, at GMC Sr 1:49:56 inagar, during 1970-75. Both Dr.Girija a d Dr. Naseer had tutored me during those days. I too have fond remembrances of them. Both were very considerate, but very strong and committed. Dr. Anjilas way of talking, her expressions, head movements are exactly like that of Dr. Girija. I was taken back in timeline to those golden days of my life.❤
Dr Naseer as principal of Medical college had given 3 to 4 blood transfusions to my mom, Free and the procedure was carried out in the blood bank of the hospital

Dr.Naseer was known to every Kashmiri.He was a great physician of his time who loves his patient very much.May his soul rest in peace in the heaven.
100 bed hospital was the brain child of Dr Grija Dhar,and it was VERY strictly managed
