D P Dhar was a brilliant strategist who was master in outwitting opponents he had to deal with. However, jr. Dhar is factually wrong viza viz Mujib Rahman who was in fact set free immediately after Mr. Bhutto took over from Gen Yahya Khan. Again Dr Karan Singh has a different version on Shimla Agreement, calling it a faux pas on the part of Indra Gandhi who had been being exclusively surrounded by known Kashmiri Pandits. I watched the conversation somewhat late but enjoyed it. The legendary Nazikis have contributed to literature in good measure. I enjoyed the conversation with Ayaz Rasool Sahab himself a well known poet and literary person.

It was pure surprise to have come across this interview. I was a medical student ,from Kerala, at GMC Sr 1:49:56 inagar, during 1970-75. Both Dr.Girija a d Dr. Naseer had tutored me during those days. I too have fond remembrances of them. Both were very considerate, but very strong and committed. Dr. Anjilas way of talking, her expressions, head movements are exactly like that of Dr. Girija. I was taken back in timeline to those golden days of my life.❤

Listened to the program three days earlier, curious to know about Dr. Hera. He along with the English lady came to our house in Srinagar sometime around 1970. He looked dynamic. Myself studying in first year of the five years graduation course at Amarsingh College Srinagar and was guide to Mr.Fotedar for a short while. Still don't know how he was related.Everyone in the house was delighted seeing, someone very special. When Pandit JP Parimoo my eldest uncle wanted to advise him regarding do's and don'ts , his first reaction , common shoot, and I liked it. He was residing at Prof. T N Dhar's in vicinity and was invited to our place for dinner along with the lady that evening. After dinner he went to see my eldest aunt in the kitchen surrounded by 'Deechas' saying thanks. Those days We lived in a combined family system. My aunt said, come again ( baye ha yize). Dr. Fotedar responded in bold voice ' Insuallah ' and I liked it again. Mr.and Mrs. Fotedar little baby got indisposed and was directed to medical practitioner nearby. A mixture of several salts from the Practitioner was thrown out of the window by the English lady. These are some memories. Mr. Fotedar looked so dynamic and I wanted to tell him to take me along with him , didn't do so. Pandit Shambhoonath also visited us twice at Srinagar. He offered children the sweetened sonph from the airport. My father discovered a huge bundle of beedies in his baggage and scolded him for that, thinking him to be someone very close. Pandit Fotedar's response was ' jab tak yeanha hai tab tak to pena hi hai '. He offered a pistol to my father for safety. My father was scared to keep the pistol and refused to keep the pistol. Devloped acquittance with executive engineer from Jammu at Salal power station, during my service around 1980 . The X'en without me telling him anything told me, the whole world knows the plight of kp's in Kashmir. Kp's were aware of the unfavorable attitude and did nothing about it, never raised the voice , till things from bad to worse. More interested in each other's leg pulling.

I have heard Zareef Sahib several times in the past on U Tube speaking on several issues concerning Kashmir's culture BUT today's narrative regarding our homeland and the mutual relationship amongst people in the past was spellbound. He has tremendous knowledge about Kashmir. God Bless him. Thanks to you Kaul Sab for presenting such a programme. I admire your command on English language. ओर जू।

First time in my lifetime, listened to such a gracious highly educated personalty Kashmiri Pandit dignity speaking about her distinguished childhood. Her father is still revered by his students, more especially muslims some of them of highest status in society.
