I’m gonna go watch this one on the TV. I’m excited about this review! I’ll be getting the Summit 1 in soon. Seems like a great eMTB.

It’s pretty solid and testing the top speed was a blast

Sweet bike for the price biggest con is the stock fork and weight of the bike in technical trails. Really does wear you out. I put a nice air fork on mine and it lightened up the front end. It’s a little more nimble now.

What is your experience with this bike on big hills? Just got one and very disappointed in it's hill climbing. My 75lb fat tire e-bike does much better with its 750W hub motor.

Just got one - my experience is that it is not great on steep longer hills - the motor drops to a low power mode where it will only go about 5mph no matter how hard I pedal, the gear, or the level of assist. Going faster requires the throttle - but that can provide too much power if it's a technical trail. Just opened a support case, but I have a feeling this is just the way the bike is.

@@ChrisCrossed Yes - boost level 5 and lowest gear - still underpowered.

How is climbing in the lowest gear on this bike? Been looking at the Ebycco E8 since its lowest gear should be really low with that front derailleur. Big hills to get anywhere around my house.

I'm curious to know if it has internal routing for a Dropper post & also if comes with tubeless ready wheels & tires?

I have the same bike but upgraded the fork I keep up with my buddies who have Treks and Giant emtbs. I can also leave them if we hit gravel or pavement so yeah I can attest to how bad ass of a value this bike is.

Kepler is not an e-mtb. The Summit is an actual e-mtb, not like all the fat-tire cruisers out there. Outside of customer/ DIY builds, this bike is the only sub-$2k purpose-built e-mtb.

My bike came with a stress cracked frame. I had to sue them in small claims court. I got my money back. This is a scam company.
