That's some thick metal to have to bend straight. Not saying it can't be fixed, but that's a lot of hot work to fix it

I fell down on the ground laughing when my father forgot the poles and put the one way discs the wrong way headed at a pole. He never said there would be daze like this… lol 😂❤😂 sometimes, you just need to stop, unhitch, and get a chain to pull things back backwards. And with patience get your self free 😅. As an experienced farmer, I’ve pulled many things out of ditches… usually it’s a ditch. At least in Saskatchewan they outnumber roads two to one … odds are even.

There was a set of railway crossing gates that had needed replacing for years, and then they were replaced, finally. The new gates lasted 24 hours (from memory) till they became matchwood when a train hit them. The old ones went back on.

Things must be different where you are. No one is paid for poles in their fields here. And satellite guidance doesn’t know where the poles are

Yeah thats what the guy thought when he figured I'd weld the ripped off marker arm back on his JDDB60 planter. He bitched about the 8 hour bill to cut it apart straighten it/ weld in new metal and re paint it, so you'd never know it happened. He did go rather quiet when I asked what's a new one worth from Deere if they even have one in stock during the next 3 months, with supply chain or obsolete parts problems !
