We don't really have a "down town". We have several areas like "the city of London" also referred to as "the square mile" containing the old financial hub. Docklands which is the new financial/office hub with many modern tall buildings and the "west end" which is the main shopping streets like Oxford Street and Bond Street.
London is always crowded, this seems no more than usual.
I’m going to London next year for a 12th grade class trip, along with a train trip to Paris.
Sometimes the class will goto London & Paris, and I believe Normandy Beach? Maybe.
The other trip in different years, (last years grade 12 trip) went to Berlin, Warsaw and Aushwitz concentration camp.

Quick question. Where do delivery trucks park to unload merchandise ? I work for Transit in NYC and this is a problem when maneuvering a bus around. Love how the bus signal to the left and cars stopped on let the bus in. THIS would never happened here in NYC.

I wonder when the government will invest in proper cycle lanes on all roads like these to prevent potentially serious collisions? Cyclist safety is very important and given that several cyclists have unfortunately been injured on the roads, extending the cycle super highways into the city is of paramount importance.
