Imo: The way Nova designed the visuals (including the outfits) and the way the chorus was written, I would assume everything was designed to set Dax up for the knock-out. The way Tom and Acal maintained a double tempo, but kept you waiting for the pow-pow, that didn't come until Dax...the crescendo starting from a crescendo so to speak. It was a perfectly poetic way to deliver a message imo.
Disclaimer: Dax doesnt need help being elevated. I think this was the most effective way they felt this one should be delivered and it was art over ego in this song.

The chop blew me away. All the content is always there, but this was next level performative shit from all 3. We all know how Dax’s tongue can go off, but hearing tom chop on these last few songs is impressive. Then you have Adam double timing, which has never been his M.O. then dax come in for the kill shot once the group was wounded
The first time I heard this I thought Dax’s verse was my favorite but the more I listen to it I feel like they’re all equally good because the all bring a unique sound!
I haven’t listened to Tom in awhile, I am a fan but I feel like his music is all sounding the same lately, this song took him to another level and I freaking love it!

You know I think certain songs are set up a certain way for a reason. Tom MacDonald has been know to continuously put out music that calls thing for exactly WTF it is. When i realized him and Adam went first I knew they set Dax up to destroy and hit that punch line HARD AF. They worked hard together to put out a message they all wanted to be shared. Slavery was essentially invented due to differences in wealth, and the wealthy wanting to use the less wealthy to do their work. The entire time, since the dawn of "society", the real enemy has been hierarchy, separating people based on wealth, and consumerism in general. First it was ancient civilizations like Egypt, then Rome, then it spread throughout all of humanity.

Not quite. Sure, slavery essentially happened due to a difference in not only wealth but even race and most importantly power (not the same). But obviously since then then the dynamic has changed. And now the difference is wealthy using the less wealthy to do their work FOR WEALTH. Key point. Hierarchy isn't really the enemy. It depends on the hierarchy obviously. But the point is They exist one way or the other and it in itself is not an "enemy". It is not like there is some third party that seperates the people based on wealth, people ultimately get seperated based on wealth, etc. AND keep in mind, by seperation, I am talking about the categorization only and obviously I am not talking about or condoning segregation or seperation of communication and what not among these groups. Consumerism and its effects once again fall back on the consumers and their personal choices itself. To summarize, the point is seperation (more like categorization) itself isn't wrong but if you judge something/someone solely based on that, then that is the problem. Because at the end of the day everyone is equal but not the same.
