It was all great brothers!! Except the part where you said that it's difficult to get food in your country, STOP to always represent your homeland like that. You really look amazingly healthy young men. I don't see hunger on your faces at all! That mentality of looking your own African in the mirror of poverty was deeply seeded in you and it needs to end. this is annoying. Personally I live in West Africa and I eat every day. this man lies he does just to attract sympathy. if there is no food for him to go to the field to cultivate it is simple.

I've been watching these competitions for years and many people progress further because they have some kind of tragic story or predicament. This gains the support of the judges and Western audiences. These African guys must have some manager coaching them on what to say, and I'm pretty sure they know exactly what they are doing. The show also benefits from being marketed as a platform that takes vulnerable people from 'nothing' to global fame and riches, especially foreigners. No one fits the old 'white saviour' trope better than blacks. 🤣
I hate Africa being portrayed like that, but right now it's more important to see these guys succeed. They are representing Africa more by their talent and humility, than any of the sob stories many of us are tired of hearing. 😅

@@carmennicholson2867 Let's face it, these gentlemen are from Guinea which was a former French speaking colony in Africa. Their exposure to the English language may have been limited. At the end of the day, these men presented a quality product and their talent revealed that. Give these gentlemen time and they will be speaking English as good as you or I do. Time is of the essence.
