Add pectin and have yourself some peach jelly if you dont need this much syrup 🤤 just finished doing this with pear scraps, pear jelly for days! 💜

You just use the peels, no peach pieces are necessary
If you have a peach that’s over ripe and will turn to mush when canned put it in your peelings .,if not then just your pealing will work just fine, she had a lot of peaches….
Question? Why you boil the peaches to peel then boil them again?
I boil to get the skin off so I can use the peaches. I’m boiling the skins / waste the second time to make the syrup
@@Cara.AnneJones So you can't boil it both at the same time and remove skin when peaches are soft? I am not trolling, honest question.

If you just used the whole peach it wouldn’t matter but I’m using peach scraps if that makes sense

You could cut out the blanch method for skinning if you used a carrot/potato pealer. Quick and easy and takes 2 steps OUT of canning.
Can i get the quantities of peaches and water
She just used the peach peels and then covered them with water, after draining she had 3 cups of liquid and added 2 cups of sugar for the syrup.
