A early morning commute on the Liberty State Parkway into Portland district and back, beating the worst hours of the rush hour traffic from upstate Liberty.
Because the game itself feels like something from early 2000s(except the population density like in GTA VI) lol Especially with it's buggy traffic that can't even collide with anything
@@narrativeless404 Hey man, I know it's random because it's a video game video LOL, but I have a problem with comments and wanted to know, can you read my comment?
I really like that you didn't just create a 1:1 version but used some artistic liberty to make the city feel more realistic. The entrance to the city looked awesome
3:20 is where playable area actually starts. This is why I love Cities: Skylines, it finally gives us the ability to expand on these worlds were very immersed into
This somehow brings a sense of satisfied nostalgia. Like seeing that my childhood video game is still thriving and growing and doing just fine without me. So populated, so much traffic, so much more alive despite all the Skylines limitations and programming.
Thanks for putting that forth. *"Like seeing that my childhood video game is still theiving and growing and doing just fine without me".* Never though about it like that before but subconsciously that's exactly feeling too. You just encapsulated it with a few words better than i ever could.
This is truly feels unreal, like a fever dream... I absolutely fall in love with this! Thank you so much for showing your video and also your job of creating map, if you did this on your own! 👍
Please please make more videos like this in various open world games like Watch Dogs, GTA IV, Saints Row etc. For some reason I found this very interesting to watch as (don't laugh at me) I drive like an NPC in open world games because it immerses me into the world. Seeing this video showed what life is like in Liberty City
It's awesome how the CS mechanics makes automaticly the city feel lively and crowded. It shows exactly how the city would really be full of people if GTA3 was realistic
This is really cool to see. If you use advanced vehicle options you can actually adjust the acceleration and braking values to make the traffic cars drive alittle smoother and more realistic.
As soon as you got into Portland I felt like I was back home, like that feeling that you get when you go back to where you grew up, the place which you have a lot of nostalgia for.
i like that you tried to mimic one of those "driving to work in nyc in the 1980's" kind of videos. feels so cozy QwQ. even more fitting with old game assets in a modern game. such a clashing of worlds.
It's a shame the original poster is apparently inactive. This is stunning work, I'd love to see a full map. Also, I love how probably half the comments are from the last 2 days 😂😂
Genuine masterpiece. It's hard to make me feel truly immersed with GTA3, but the layout herr and just the overall feel makes this feel like such a big city and a nice way to introduce it.
daaaaamn this is impressive. portland looks so good with correctly proportioned buildings, it always annoyed me it had those massive stretched out regular sized buildings in the middle of the district
Wow this like the best recreation i ever seen in my life like really it feels like remade the game scratched not to mention i would to see you do the same with lost heaven and empire bay from mafia 1 and 2.
Hey man, i wont lie this is possibly the best rendition of gta 3 liberty city in cities skylines 1 probably ever, i want to ask do you think you can do more tours on this map
I smoked a joint during this and it took my back to a special place. The realistic entry to the city and populated vibe blew me away. That was some cool shit man
Dude this is incredible. Shame it takes the video so long to get into familiar territory. But once you emerge around 5:15 it becomes instantly recognizable. Fantastic work
3D era GTA car models fit surprisingly well in Cities Skylines.
Because the game itself feels like something from early 2000s(except the population density like in GTA VI) lol

the driver cars from d1 and d2 do as well

Love how it makes Liberty City feel more lived in compared to the original game. I love that the models fit in just right in Cities: Skylines as well.
Original game wasn't supposed to feel 'lived'
Imagine this is how everyone except Claude sees Liberty city haha 😂
i released some cars from driver that fit in with these cars
Game would be boring if it was like this.
6:15 smart move avoiding Saint Mark's lol
Mafia shotguns 😭
every time I go to saint mark’s I have to drive a tank to survive there
I really like that you didn't just create a 1:1 version but used some artistic liberty to make the city feel more realistic.

Thanks for that comment! Yes I wanted to put some into it because I am moving onto Vice City soon.
@@MadpkYT Nice city! is there any chance you do the same for GTA4 Liberty City.. would love to see that!
Real
I see what you did there used some artistic "liberty" to make the "city" feel more realistic.
I would agree with the artistic style.
3:20 is where playable area actually starts. This is why I love Cities: Skylines, it finally gives us the ability to expand on these worlds were very immersed into
i used to watch your LSRP videos bro hope ur good
This is how used to see GTA 3 perspective as kid ❤😂
And no wonder, not just because of our imagination - but because we hadn't seen anything like this before
You expanded the world and made it bigger and more believable.
Masterpiece.
I like how you turned the secret developer names beyond the tunnel as actual places!

Это не получалось у меня на клавиатуре, ибо боты наживают на педаль плавно, а на клавиатуре нажатия выживает полностью
I do that too when I wanna relax

I know right? Take me back to the days of mind-blowing simulations where we didn't give a damn if the framerate dropped below 15.

The 20+ year old textures and models aged perfectly in to the simulation, it's amazing.
I don't know why but the entrance... this is somehow I remembered Liberty City. Magic!

Liberty city when your parents confiscate your PS2:
Now city feels alive.

@@chinesehacker0 "getting out of vice city"
wow liberty city has changed a fair bit since 2001, still though rockstar games did a great job capturing the realities of this city
Not really it looks nothing like NYC. GTA IV did a million times better job
Great map!
But I'm more impressed that you included radio XDD
Pets overnight killed it! lol
Amazing! I love the 3D vehicles era mix! 🥺
Liberty City is hustlin' n' bustlin'.
The work commute at the crack of dawn
This is such an amazing work and such a nice video! Im subscribing, keep it up bro
I just got the meaning of that Get the Yayo song after playing this game15+ years ago as a kid lmao
Yeah every song off that radio station was written for the movie Scarface, it's all about a miami coke dealer
@@kyle8952I just find it ironic that they didn’t use this soundtrack for Vice City. Would’ve made a lot more sense

This is an amazing build and video. And the radio soundtrack "from the 1980s"!
This is awesome im sure between the city building, recording and editing this had to take over 100 hours. Some great work!

Im glad someone done this, is what i wanted to do when i played CS, i just named the districts after places in GTA
2:50 oh no you didn't 😮😎
Great work!
Is really good. Great accuracy for recreate the city.
I saw the police cruiser in the thumbnail and had to click on it. This is seriously cool. Nice touch adding the radio station backdrop!
Reminds me of the Lincoln tunnel coming into NYC a bit...
looks like intro for sopranos
Idk how you did this but its a MASTERPIECE🔥
Also please make a GTA 4 Version :)

Great work on this! Is there any chance of you uploading the map and listing the mods necessary to play? You put a lot of work into this!

Road accidents never occurs in Cities: Skylines 1, all cars clip though each other.

The Chirpy sound effects matches well with the aesthetic of Head Radio, lol ^~^ XD

GTA III, adds cars from VC and SA 😂
Nah in all seriousness great work man! I’ma see if you’ve done those other twos maps
Awesome! This reminded me of a SimCity game were you could convert any map of SimCity into 3D and do helicopter missions around the Town.
There used to be SimCopter and Streets of SimCity, but even like 10 years ago those games don’t run on Windows 8 (I think)
Somewhere in this city a bank is being robbed by two very different people
