My most fave memory of her was her telling the tv lady she was fired. I'd watch wheel of fortune with her and she loved the lottery and her fave lady was Yolanda. When Yolanda called a 3 grandma was happy cuz that was her fave number. One night Yolanda failed to call a 3 so Grandma fired her. I cracked up.
Always treasure the time that you have with your Grandparents. One of these days they will be gone. I lost one in '77, two in the mid 80's and the last one in '95. If I concentrate hard enough I can still hear their voices.
My Grampa has been through 10+ phones over the past 8 or so years. Our tops favorites of ways he has destroyed his past phones are as follows: Baking it, putting it in the dryer, freezing it, leaving it out in the rain, and the dog knocking him over on a bike and dropping the phone. They haven't survived much though.

Man, the photo of my 72-year-old grandfather zip-lining upside-down in Costa Rica could have fit here. He's now 82 and has slowed down a bit but still enjoys life.
Grandpa calls the toilet the "thunderbox" when I was little he had me convinced that thunder really came from that room. Once I got older I realise it was him banging on the walls lol. He also has a stash of baby food jars filled with all sorts of stuff like nurs, screws, nails etc. He's currently 83, has had a minor stroke, has diabetes and still goes out in spring to get firewood for the winter. He has council permission to collect some fallen trees and branches in the national forest.
@@ClareAngel78 He's pretty stubborn lol. He grew up on a farm and I think that has a lot to do with why he insists on getting firewood and keeping stuff. I love him quite a lot.
It makes me really miss my grandma. She was hilarious. She was the lynchpin of the family and she was so funny. I miss her. Gramps as well but he was funniest when we were young not so much as we grew older and less conservative-minded.
3:45 My parents went on holidays when I was about 25 and ask to take care of their dog. When they came back the came and got the dog. Next day dog ran away and came to my home. They pick him up and he ran away again back to me. I also have my friend's cat for the same reason.

I miss my grandpas they were nice men. My dad's father once took me and my sister 2 see a flower bloom as he and dad drunk beer. It was the middle of the night and the little vampire mosquitoes kept biting us. My little sister cried and went back before the flower bloom. I stayed 2 see it bloom in the moonlight. It was epic.

I’m going to be up a tree when I’m 99! I love climbing trees. I’m 64 1/2 now and climb any tree I can. My 23 year old son thinks I’m crazy.
