- Dave Matthews Band performs "Drive In Drive Out" at the Farm Aid concert in Louisville, Kentucky on October 1st, 1995. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

I saw this concert as a freshman in high school with my best friend. Her mom took us. We didn’t understand the significance of DMB then! Since then we’ve seen him 3 more times together! Still rocking out to Dave! What a great memory!
This is the first time I saw DMB live....I fell in love with the band and never fell out!

Nick Chertavian that’s because you know the lyrics from the version they released for Crash in 1996...from 1993-1995 Dave just made up the lyrics each time they placed.
