The Dungeoncast is a D&D podcast where co-hosts Will and Brian talk about everything Dungeons & Dragons. Everything is up for discussion from Gods and Demon Lords to being a dungeon master and even building characters while keeping the conversational atmosphere lighthearted and friendly. Tune in as they explore the Dragon's Hoard of topics available from #5E, 4E, and all other editions of the world's most popular #ttrpg! Thanks for watching! #dungeonsanddragons
My favorite theory about the Lady of Pain is that she, Ao, and Tharizdun create a trinity of beings greater than the most powerful gods. Ao represents Law, the Lady represents Neutrality, and Tharizdun represents Chaos. Obviously, this only works with FR lore, though, and there's certainly arguments to be made that it doesn't even work there.
To visualize how Sigil actually looks, it’s better to imagine a car tyre than a donut. The city is on the inside of the tyre.
Glad we defended our ogl! and gained ground beside!
Apparently the lady of pain and the Raven Queen have some level of connection
Whatever occurs-I won’t stop playing TTRPGS, or supporting you. Love you guys!
Didn't the original planescape book specify that the city's name is pronounced Sig-ill" Where the g does not sound like a J, but rather like the g in gate.
D&D is older than WoTC, don't worry. Follow your passion projects. I dislike the company but love the game and lore. I grew up with the lore and it will be a part of me, no matter what company owns the rights.
Thank you, guys. Love Sigil and planescape as a location, and the lady of pain.
I was so excited to see this one! I hope you gentleman will do a series where you finish all the inner and outer planes that y’all haven’t talked about yet (or want to revisit).
Super excited to see you guys cover The Everywhere Bagel!! One of my favorite locations - keep up the excellent content
Glad to see the planescapes being explored some more because im working on a setting involving them for my friends and these videos are very informative and give me ideas as to what to add as far as history to my world so thank you a lot for these vids
I'll always follow snd support you guys as in any way i can. I trust what ever direction you take this community it will be the right one
There is an article written by Monte Cook in Polyhedron 127 called, "The Day of Grace". The article details how a little girl met and spoke with Her Serenity. And lived. No one knows what words passed between them.
I sing that jingle everytime. its too cool
You guys should do another sigil ep! I’m running a planescape campaign, and your Achron episode was a big help
Having someone who hasn’t played Planescape hear this is really interesting
Long live The Dungeoncast!
New episode and VICTORY!
Bloodborne is my favorite video game! Never knew Sigil looked like it! 😁
I'd watch an Elden Ring livestream for sure
