2nd dude boldly launch a sacrificial attack on one of the best defensive capable players on the planet. That dude deserves nobel prize at least. 😅
hikaru has frequently defended dead lost positions against super grandmasters how much more for a winning position against hippie rob lol
@@blackoutgenez i agree. I also like Hikaru for his inhuman speed and deadly accuracy but Magnus is from other level. Hikaru cannot resist carlsen's endgame play
for stupidity?
common mistake is they go along with Hikaru's speed, they got 5 min vs 1 min, plenty of time to think more on the opening.
yea true, instinctively they try to reply quickly when they see how fast Hikaru is moving but they should've used their time advantage more wisely
Yeah, except Hikaru will be thinking on their time. I don’t think it will help them lol. There have been plenty of times where players took longer and even lost on time. They were lost on the board too!
When 1200s try to match the speed of a GM lol
Hikaru moves instantly, his moves are under 1 second most of the time. You think you can find an equal good move in less than 5 seconds my guy? 😂
do you not know what openings are? lmao most of it is theory so why take your time when that time could be used in the mid/end game? sounds like you dont even play
Hikaru is like “‘next time sure” 🤣💀
0:47 Hikaru is 6 moves in and he's already looking confused lol
FLAWLESS VICTORY! The 1st was cold execution and quick. Hikaru is the best. Love his passion for the game and community.
Thank you Coffee Chess!
Love Hikaru's demeanour, always ready to have a giggle, whilst destroying his opponents. Top man!
Hikaru is such a beast.
His opponent is a beginner
@@claudiog7692 nope those opponents are both above 2000 lol
@@kineticballs77 he played like a beginner
@@claudiog7692 he was playing a superGM on board. Must be a psychological thing
@@claudiog7692 keep defending an ignorant comment
Hikaru moves were scary. Like playing a difficult bot just soul crushing
Hikaru is not taking it easy on these guys this time
Inhuman speed with extreme accuracy. Yeah that's the style of Hikaru nakamura
I like how Naka plays 5 vs. 1 against all comers.
Hikaru is on a whole different dimension
Interesting, what do you mean?
Hippie Rob lasted 2 moves more that I expected
LOVE the way Mr Hikaru Cheerful at all levels, hats off man!!!
Hikaru is a machine! And absolute boss! Truly amazing how his brain works... Thank you, Brian, for bringing us all this!
has anyone ever beat hikaru in 5 to 1 odds? Ive never seen it since watching the channel for about 3 years
IM Ruthless Robert beat him on time:
czcams.com/video/vNW3Y1b4KY0/video.html
Ruthless Robert did, he made hikaru resign
I think there was one game recently where it came down to only kings on the board and Hikaru ran out of time first, as well
@@JandarLefey only kings if no pawns would just be a draw.
Hikaru posted it on his channel. Robert “beat” Hikaru 5:1 odds. Robert is a very strong IM. For Hikaru to even offer those odds is ridiculous. It’s practice.
Bruh that was like watching a violent boxing combo
that was some disrespect speedrun smash and grab
second guy has a huge confidence he touched every piece before the game just like magnus and then lost like a little boy, lol.
Great video! Thank you so much! ❤
Gotham Chess has a video where he and Hikaru analyzed positions and Levy was amazed how much deeper a super GM like Hikaru can see into a position.
“Well you know, whatever. So it goes.” Holy shit that was brutal.
That was personal 😂
That. Was. Brutal.
"It could be worse Z, I just don't know how"
I admire the boldness of those players.
My goodness that was brutal.
Wow. He knows every move.
naka, twirlin' them pawns like they was poker chips!
The power scaling is OOOPPP
At 7:29, I would have played Bxd2. That pawn was the real hero in the checkmate.
When Hikaru shows different opening counter
Sometimes people forget Hikaru has been playing chess all his life. He does chess for a living. Regular people stand no chance
Hikaru pulled up with body bags today... Sheeeeeesh
There are levels to this game...
Yikes. I could feel that guys pain.
That E3 pawn should not have been allowed to be there. He has a bishop to take it with.
He gets beat up from the start and still pretends he's a great player and somehow will show that next time. Typical trash talker with no game.
Crushed them!
BRUTALITY! I have to watch this multiple times... Sorry.. not sorry...
I'm trying to get good like Hikaru
its like playing with kids, so funny to watch how huge is the level difference . . .
White makes seven normal moves just to destroy his own position within the next few moves ...
Yeah, more people should take an extra move and castle queen side, but, I’m an idiot.
2:18 wouldn’t it make more sense to move the queen not the bishop?
Qe2 look like such a normal move, but the assessment on the engine thinks it's terrible.
These guys are funny bc they always have a trick opening, making them better after the first 4 moves, but then they just crumble.
why do they all play so fast when they have 5 mins? its insane ... they would have a better chance (albeit still lose) if they took a larger chunk of their 5 mins allocation
Turn up the heat!
Wow great point, it's level to da gama. Hikaru definitely is a beast, love his game hope to play as strong as him or stronger
Brutal
Hikaru just melting people
White's blunder level: disrespect
what was the gambit Hikaru was referring to that made him smile? At 0:38
DESTROYED
Where do these games take place?
Hikaru doesn't miss much.
HIKARU!!!!👏👏👏👏
Brutal...
I don't know why, but i fell pain when first guy use two hands to play...
Absolutely scary! 👻
It's a double blunder to sac the bishop pair and not to take Bxe3 at move 6 or 7 or 8... moreover the bishop was pining nothing in g5.
Hikaru is a super grandmaster😮
Wish I knew this location so I could come play! I understand why they don’t give it out though. Too many crazies online…
More like too many crazies in LA.
Hicky did it.
Bd3 could have saved white. 😮
Of course GM Hikaru
can anyone tell me why he didn't move the knight at 1:17 to stop the check? seemed like the only move to me but assuming i'm missing something.
PxN
exf2
@@celilo7 no, i meant moving the knight on c3 to e2
Why? He didn't anticipate Qg3 and was preparing to castle. It's more obvious in retrospect, without a clock, and not sitting in public across a celebrity. In particular, Z moved too quickly, which is a hustler tactic, but not very useful against a blitz champ.
@@icollectstories5702 no he 100% did anticipate qg3...he pretty much says so and thinks long enough.
i assume he's a higher elo than me and i saw it in real time, i was literally just asking if there is a reason it doesn't work that i'm missing.
thanks for visually describing a blitz game though, that was very helpful.
Yeah like playing horse with Steph Curry
and spotting him a letter.
Next time just take a piece off the board before playing him.
Exactly. The King.
Its like if lebron james came to a playground for a little one on one.
Why he mates with the bishop if the queen is closer? 😅
way cooler!
Watching this and Fabi's one, I would rather play Fabi any day. Hikaru just butchers you like the noob we are. Fabi, on the other hand, goes easy on you and beats you gently and elegantly. Also doesn't help that he is basically premoving the whole game OTB.
I wish I was good at anything like Hikaru is at chess!
Pick something you want to be good at, focus on it for the next year, then update us on your progress. Looking forward to the update...
@@chochaos7 I've been working on my golf game for years... Still not even remotely close to a pga player! I do see improvements from year to year but they are very minor now. I guess I should've said I wish I had enough free time to devote to something to get as good as Hikaru is at chess... Lol
@@chuckstallman5 haha fair enough. I used time over the winter to learn to draw (something that I never thought I'd be able to do) and after practicing almost everyday have noticed a pretty big improvement. Of course I have a REALLY long way to go before I can be considered with the greats
WHO is the dude with the patches?? 😶 lol
WTF is up with that baseball jacket LMAO....please...NEVER EVER AGAIN
How many free cup of coffee did Hikaru get today 😊
Enough to open his own starbucks franchise.
"Just a game of levels"? Well, if you mean that one of the greatest players in the world will completely destroy a good local player, then yeah, obviously!
Coffee Chess does have some NMs, FMs, and IMs. Same result.
@@icollectstories5702 Yeah, basically any of those guys would destroy a good local player. Then a good local player would destroy me, and there's at least two more huge steps below my level. Chess has a huge skill range.
5:22 ayyyy misclick
If Hikaru won the match then why are we seeing the board from his opponents perspective?? 🤔🧐
Magnus Carlsen when??
He live in norway. Doubt he'll ever come
the asian dude is pretty good
it kind of annoys me when people play with both hands, i know this is street chess and all but still
Sorry - those 2 clowns were not good players.
🕵🕵♀️🕵♂️⚔️
Hikaru should play greatest player in the history - Mike.
He's done that.
