Do you make any of the skincare products you use?

I made my own tallow balm based on your recipe, substituting the olive oil with coconut oil. Loving it so far! Planning to gradually ease myself into oil cleansing and no poo as well. Planning to ditch all of my commercial skin care save for two beloved items.

I use olive oil to remove eye makeup. Works really well. Thanks so much for your videos!

Hi just a personal question. So I have this tallow soap bar that I use to cleanse in the winter and right after it I then apply the whipped tallow moisturiser.
Sometimes I’ll put raw sugar into my hands and exfoliate with the tallow soap that’s been applied to my face, I do this once a week at least. Is it fine to use this method ? Is tallow soap on the face safe ? And is putting whipped tallow as a moisturiser right after cleansing with the soap tallow safe ?
    Thanks kindly !

love love love your channel! i'm curious, did you have background knowledge of skincare or did you teach yourself everything? i'm looking to start making my own products so i can completely eliminate store bought items but i feel like i don't have enough knowledge on everything and i don't know where to start!

Thank you so much! You're so kind ☺️ I've been immersed in DIY skincare for years; my Mom was very into DIY in all areas of life, so I sort of grew up around that idea. I don't have a professional background in it, but I've also done tons and tons of research and reading on my own to learn. That's awesome you want to eliminate store bought items, too! For me, it definitely didn't happen overnight. It took years of testing and designing recipes, and gradually I was able to switch from store bought to completely DIY, and they're products I'm really happy with. 🙂 My advice would be to DIY one product at a time, and feel free to ask me if you have questions along the way! I'm glad you're here! 🙂💕
