Hey. Next time, use alcohol. It takes in 5 minutes. I did that ugly yellow 613 and turned it ashy platinum blonde. Good luck

Synthetic hairs are plastic. Color or texture don’t matter when it comes to shedding. Even with human hair. Shedding comes from poor weft construction. Not color or texture.

I used water but I’ve seen other people use rubbing alcohol mixed with the RIT dye. I hope this helps

Hey Tookapack I used gloves when I first dyed the hair. When it finished drying it didn’t come back off on my hand. The color only transferred if I use anything hot or warm on it.

When you rinse off the hair after the RIT dye make sure to use cold water to help seal in the color.

How do you avoid dying the lace? I have a few blonde synthetic wigs that need color and I have been too afraid to use the rit dyemore because I am super white and don't want to dye the lace. If the lace gets dyed can I just bleach it back? Any tips would be super appreciated!!

maybe try coating the lace in petroleum jelly or wax... not 100% if this would work though, because the hot water may melt it

Hey Alisha, I used Got 2 B glue in the yellow tube. Covered the lace with it. Make sure you give it time to dry before you put it in the hot water. I tried it and it worked better in the parts that were completely dry

After you color the hair you can rinse off the glue from the lace Also the yellow tube I’m talking about is called “Styling Spiking glue” from Got 2B collection
