Are you high? It's a rolling death trap. It's top heavy and if the hatch is down the driver has no peripheral vision. If it flips over, you can't get the back hatch to open up and the top hatches are useless at that point too. Yes, it has a good top speed compared to Bradleys, but it doesn't do much good being a bullet and RPG magnet.

My shack of mysteries was on their FOB and I could watch the Rangers form up and move out on their patrols, while the SF guys would only go out when their target would leave their hidey hole. Respect.
Great explanation of the crew that operates the Stryker. I retired after 21 years, most spent at 2/75 and RTB. I was surprised how quiet the Stryker was when I first experienced it. Best of look SFC.

Ah, yeah - that crap doesn't exist in combat arms jobs like this one (Cavalry Scout). That exist maybe in more p.o.g. (office type jobs). Even then, everyone's busy & works their butt off every day. All that drama is usually news channel crap pushed. Sure, usually based on some remote situation somewhere but definitely not a real concern in the majority of the real world.

When I was in Mosul, the Red Team (Rangers) used the Stryker and the Green Team (Special Forces) used a vehicle called a Pander. Looked like a mini Stryker.
My shack of mysteries was on their FOB and I could watch the Rangers form up and move out on their patrols, while the SF guys would only go out when their target would leave their hidey hole.

Great explanation of the crew that operates the Stryker. I retired after 21 years, most spent at 2/75 and RTB. I was surprised how quiet the Stryker was when I first experienced it. Best of look SFC.
Having full videos on how some of these things work and having it up for later use by soldiers I think I would be a good idea
