1. The devil is our foe but we shouldn’t be afraid of him.

Though Satan is mighty, he is not all-mighty; though he is wise and knowing, he is not omniscient; though he is powerful, he is not all-powerful. Nor is he omnipresent; he is on God's chain and can only go as far as God permits in affecting mankind.
2. The devil can be resisted by Christians. (Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4v7)
3. Christians shouldn’t give the devil a place. (Nor give place to the devil. Ephesians 4v27)

We need to be cautious in the applying of scriptures so that they correctly present God’s Word in their preaching and teaching activity. As an example, take the statement that is sometimes made that one of the names given to Satan the Devil is Lucifer. Reference may be made by some to Isaiah 14:12-16. According to the Authorized Version (King James), verse twelve says: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” The word “Lucifer” is a translation of the Hebrew word heh•lelʹ, “shining one.” Heh•lelʹ, as here used, is not a personal name or a title, but, rather, a term describing the brilliant position taken by Babylon’s dynasty of kings in the line of Nebuchadnezzar. It would not be correct to say that Satan the Devil is the one here called Lucifer as though it were one of his names. The expression here refers primarily to the king of Babylon, for, according to verse four, this is a “proverbial saying against the king of Babylon.” Also, verses fifteen and sixteen of this chapter fourteen say that this “shining one” (Lucifer) is to be brought down to Sheol, which is mankind’s common grave, not an abiding place for Satan the Devil. Furthermore, the fact is that those seeing this “shining one” brought into this condition say: “Is this the man that was agitating the earth, that was making kingdoms rock?” Satan is not a man but an invisible spirit creature. Thus, while the king of Babylon reflected the attitude of his father, the Devil, still the word Lucifer was not a name given to Satan the Devil. By “handling the word of the truth aright” we are prepared to speak the clear sayings of God as we have them on the printed pages of the Bible.

It may not have been the real devil, but that’s pretty much what he’s doing.
When I had a demon called ZoZo attached to me, I tried interviewing him through an EVP session, but he wouldn't answer my questions.
I thought he was a ghost because I was still under the delusion that ghosts were real. I didn't know about the sin of contacting spirits because you do not know if it is a evil or good (fallen or heavenly) angel.
However, he did tell me his name and that was all.
Since then, 12 years ago, I have learned the truth and I'm happy that he is gone.

Thank you Vlad! Please pray for me and my children. I’m so discouraged and I’m feeling defeated. Our world has grown so cold and heaven seems so far away. I receive so much hate simply for asking for prayers. Prayers are ALL I NEED. I’m a single mother and I’m struggling to provide for my sons both are autistic and I’m overwhelmed! I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined due to my heart condition I had a massive heart attack and I suffer from lupus. I am waitressing now but not making nearly enough to get by. Every month is a battle. I can’t go back to my job at the hospital because mandates are still in place. Jesus help me to overcome my fears. Because as I struggle I am fearful. Struggling to provide for me and my children is scary Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. BUT I trust you Lord. Jesus hear my prayers. Even though I’m discouraged I will keep faith! ❤

Sometimes I want to give up, but catching myself is a prayer to God always! It seems to calm an resist any evil I may have thought about!
