We really in need of these people who talk about maqaam of quran. People got hadith from aalim that if you read 1 word of quran you will get 10 neki so they only read for neki not to understand, not with thinking,Quran never says number about neki that you will get these numbers of neki.its only talk about action and reaction what you give you get.

In my opinion when we use this too often, it then gives the wrong idea to people that we are a sect of Islam. Whereas we deny sectarianism as a whole. @@quranistislam Well the commonly accepted definition of "Quranist" is Quran alone with no use of Hadith, especially for arriving at ontological conclusions, truths and spiritual beliefs, or where Hadith are perhaps used for historical purposes (such as deriving the names of the companions or added detail to actual events mentioned in the Quran). Anything other than that, I guess you would just be one of the myriad of Muslim denominations that all in various degrees rely on Hadith (and Sunnah which is difficult to establish without Hadith or other historical records such as the Muwatta of Imam Malik by the way or the statements by the Ahl ul Bayt if you are of a Shia leaning) along with the Quran. Quranist is a very distinct stance that rejects Hadith for use in any kind of process to arrive at belief, practice or truth. If this does not apply to you, perhaps you should reconsider the "Quranist" label so as to avoid needless confusion?

Not shocking given that he most likely is from a Saudi clan living in Saudi Arabia. So I am not sure where to place him frankly speaking, other than to say that he has very reasonable views that I think most reasonable people will share no matter what position or sect or creed they belong to. How do we reconcile the differences between Sana' Manuscript and current Manuscript? Is there Changes (Tahreef) in Qur'an? Also, what is abrogation of the verses?
کوئی بھی کتاب جو اللہ کی طرف سے ہونے کی دعوے دار ہو، اس کتاب میں اپنی سچائی ثابت کرنے کے لئے کوئی چیلنج یا دلیل یا ثبوت ہونا چاہیے۔ جو کہ قرآن میں موجود ہے۔ کہ اس جیسی کوئی ایک سورت بھی نہیں بنا سکتا پوری کتاب تو دور کی بات۔
رہی بات قرآن کے مختلف نسخوں کی، تو وہ بات ایسے ہی جیسے کہ اگر آپکو کوئی قرآن پرنٹ نسخہ دیا جائے تو اس میں کوئی زیر زبر، یا نکتہ پرنٹ نہ ہو پائے۔ تو کوئی بھی عربی جاننے والا با آسانی بتا سکتا ہے کہ یہاں کیا مسنگ ہے۔ بس اسی بات سے پراپیگینڈہ کا جا رہا ہے۔ پرانے ادوار میں جنہوں نے ہاتھ سے قرآن کے نسخے لکھے وہ انسان ہی تو تھے۔ اگر ایک کتاب میں احکامات یا معلومات کا تضاد پیدا ہو تو ہم کہہ سکتے کہ یہ کتاب تحریف شدہ ہے۔ جب کہ مجھے کوئی تضاد نظر نہیں آیا، فی الحال۔
You are erroneously labelling him Quranist (which means Quran only and negating any other source texts). That is wrong. Change your labelling and do not use others to further or champion your cause without their approval.

Quranists are not only those who negate all hadiths, but also those who take only those ahadiths which matches with Quran and does not contradict with any verse.

@@quranistislam Well the commonly accepted definition of "Quranist" is Quran alone with no use of Hadith, especially for arriving at ontological conclusions, truths and spiritual beliefs, or where Hadith are perhaps used for historical purposes (such as deriving the names of the companions or added detail to actual events mentioned in the Quran). Anything other than that, I guess you would just be one of the myriad of Muslim denominations that all in various degrees rely on Hadith (and Sunnah which is difficult to establish without Hadith or other historical records such as the Muwatta of Imam Malik by the way or the statements by the Ahl ul Bayt if you are of a Shia leaning) along with the Quran.
Quranist is a very distinct stance that rejects Hadith for use in any kind of process to arrive at belief, practice or truth. If this does not apply to you, perhaps you should reconsider the "Quranist" label so as to avoid needless confusion?

@@quranistislam Ah yes, well when I review his videos he has referred to himself as being born into and brought up in the Hanbali creed or "sect". Not shocking given that he most likely is from a Saudi clan living in Saudi Arabia. But it would seem he has moved away from the typical Hanbali stances or for that matter the more modern Wahabi stances and the various offshoots of Wahabism as found in Salafism. So I am not sure where to place him frankly speaking, other than to say that he has very reasonable views that I think most reasonable people will share no matter what position or sect or creed they belong to.
You know, it is a bit ironic that you would ask about this regarding Farhan al Maliki since many of his videos and topics in them surround this very fact of contanstly labelling things or reducing them to this or that. Perhaps that is the best I can answer, that this topic of labelling somebody is kind of what he wishes to move away from.

the same strategy adopted the first Quranist pioneer in Pakistan. Ghulam Ahmad Pervez. he claimed he does not reject hadiths BUT he preached Quran, that eventually leads to rejection of hadiths (HE KNEW THAT)
AND you can NOT put Hassan farhan almaliki anywhere in traditional sects because they ALL based on hadiths ... totally rejecting Quran in every matter. who ever says he will take only those hadiths which matches the Quran, he is separating himself from all traditional sects. not only he separates himself but those sects will also disown him and even attack him. and he is most close to Quranist sect.

In fact there is a criteria for the judgement of any Hadith narration from the prophet of Islam p b uh a h progeny whatever from the Hadith matches with Quran is correct must be obeyed, whole whichever doesn't match must be rejected strongly. So this guy is Quranist. Quran without hadiths is like useless book for Muslims. Quran doesn't say who Mohd was and where he was born and how to pray etc very messed up religion. It is not necessary to know where Muhammad s.a.w was born , and Salah is not praying. It's reading Quran with understanding. Salah means connection. We connect with Allah/the creator of all through the book. The book is the word of creator. His conversation to the messenger.

Gives complete details of all matters of life. Marriage, divorce, inheritance, battles, ethics, what to eat and what not to. Cleanliness, relations, family, neighbours, human rights , history and list goes on.

Let me inform you about science blunders. Earlier it was believed that new borns do not feel pain. So they performed circumcision and other surgeries without anesthesia. @@Hazara26 i have studies hadith literature. its nothing but confusion, contradiction and waste of valuable time. i challenge , there could not be any conclusion based on Hadiths. though any one can find a hadith that suits him. even i do know many hadiths that urge to become quranist/ Quran alone follower. one of them is the famous Hadith of QURTAAS. when prophet wanted a pen and paper to write something in his end time but Umer denied it saying Quran alone is enough.
second thing, if any one can write a book like Quran. why dont you people attempt it ? you can even use the help of AI. i will believe and follow that book if its better guiding and JUST than the Quran.
thirdly, prophet Muhammad's personal details are mentioned in Quran which were important for common people. for example, Him being orphan, having more than three wives, one wife was divorced from his adopted son ZAID. Prophet migrated, fought battles, belonged from Quraish tribe. prophet Muhammad was hesitant to say his followers that after you finish your meal in his home, they should leave. dont keep sitting there. These all details are mentioned in Quran. and even more. im just mentioning few. the details which are not in the Quran are NOT important at all.

Research from ahle hadees is not new. They have best research. They believe quraan as well as ahadees. But this person from Riyadh has no proper research. His mind is like ahle quraan who refused ahadees like khwarij and he is shia.
