My dad never took any martial arts of any kind, but his job was unloading meat boxes from the back of trucks with only his fingers because of the way the meat cases were packed in the back of the freight trucks. As a result, he could do two finger push ups, and when I got out of line as a teenager he would grab my arm just like the Tiger kung fu movies made by the Shaw Brothers, and boy did he dig his fingers into my arm muscles. He also jabbed me with his forefinger like the Praying Mantis films too, and I would have welts on my midsection and chest lol. And this was just a meat trucker unloading meat packs out of trucks with no combat experience. I can only imagine him having an education in fighting.
