Salam alaikum brother, you are doing great but just a word of advice. The brother seems like he is truthful and honest about seeking truth. He seems to be confused about a couple of things but you seem to come off a little aggressive. I feel like if you were able to make him feel a bit more comfortable he would've been more open about his ideas and feelings towards islam as well as his doubts.
