    Guys, does the weapon system officer at the back have any little control over the flying ? It must be a downer not able to manoeuvre the plane but on the other hand, when the sortie is over and otw back to base the guy behind can chill, eat snacks and look at the scenery. Thats my imagination. Whats the real situation guy?

    • @eatdriveplay
      @eatdriveplay Před 28 dny +2

      WSO can control the aircraft, for some situations but they are not qualified as pilots and can’t do takeoff/landing/fights… they have some basic flight training. They have more than enough work to do, operating various sensors and weapons… multi-tasking.

    Singapore is another multi racial country but it is also a monopoly of one majority race in every aspect. I don't see the fighter pilots from other ethnicity in this Pitch Black 24 team of pilots....😄😄😄. If you watch videos on Singapore Air shows hardly see pilots especially fighter pilots from other ethnicities.

    • @Zayn-jc4zt

      We have minority flying F-15 and F-16. As the name imply they are minority that’s why you hardly see them but that does not mean they are not there.
