Hello, new subscriber here. Didn’t plan to subscribe until di bredrin seh “ weh unu a wait pon?” 😊Glad to support a fellow “yahdi,” 🇯🇲 especially cruise enthusiasts. Are you two part of the crew? Must be if you have such early access to this room. Ship doesn’t sail with normal passengers until the 27th. Thank you for the detailed tour of this Infinite Balcony room. I concur. I'm on ICON this year and I'm in a Grand Suite. However, I'll never do that infiniti room mess. It's too constricting and not spacious at all.
Is there a step up/down going in and out of the bathroom, I couldn't tell.

I didn’t realise that Icon had this room type - will be interesting to see if it proves as controversial as on Celebrity!
So far there are mixed reactions but I’m sure people will eventually appreciate the concept

We took Celebrity Beyond. It had bifold doors to the balcony. Loved the ship!

Thanks for the tour! Loyal RC cruisers & we're excited to sail May 2024. Appreciate the upgrade from cooler to a fridge and adding USB-C ports. 😏Now I don't know about guest services chat feature. I hope that goes over smoothly. 👑💄💋

Thank you for watching. The price varies based on date we booked the day prior to general release and we did a royal up so our price is not the price for this room. so we got it for $900 on royal up on top of our cruise fare which was around $3500

they spent billions of dollars building this ship with some of the most respected architects/engineers AND they couldn't put a partition or door to separate the window to keep the a/c in?! when you roll the balcony windows down the AC turns off and theres no way to keep the cold air in because they have curtains instead of doors to separate the balcony area LOL
This isn’t a new concept. Even with a sliding door Celebrity is the same. They knew their target audience and built it knowing that it’s not for everyone. Thank you for watching 😊
Thanks for the video!!! Couple thoughts on that room. Curious your feelings. 1. I LOVE my balcony when cruising. I also love being able to have that separate space from the room (when my friend is getting ready or at night when I'm not ready for bed and have that nightcap drink on the balcony). 2. I love my room as cold as possible, when you open the window does the air conditioning still work? or does that shut off like it would if the balcony door was open? Not sure if that would be my first choice of rooms. Thank you again!
Thank you for watching. The AC does turn off once the window is down and regarding the separate space I definitely agree with you the curtain does the separation but not like a traditional balcony. It has its audience but I may not be the target for it.

Can u pls tell us if they put a mattress topper on to make it a real king and not two pushed together beds with the metal in the middle???!!! They better have thought of that for this incredible ship!!!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
They are two twins that come together however there is no metal in the middle that we felt. We also had a topper that we requested precruise so the bed was very comfortable. We are heading back next week for the first revenue sailing so more information will be shared then

Royal Caribbean always has discounts running but you can also try a travel agent who may be able to swing some additional onboard credit or amenities

This was a shakedown or tester cruise. We did not pay for it. However pricing is listed on Royal Caribbeans website for this and other categories. Ty for watching
Thank you! Great room tour. With the infinite balcony, were you able to have the window open on sea days, or only in ports? And did you find you used the space much? We are booked in one this fall, and I'm not sure if my wife will like it or not. She likes sitting out on the balcony in the mornings.
Thank you for coming by and watching our tour. You can open the door as you see fit with the exception of rough sea days. The captain can close it and restrict the use then.

This is a shakedown cruise where employees come onboard to stress test to make it ready for the main voyage

Windows not good for Caribbean cruises, you get all the humidity inside the room quickly if you open the window

I feel like there will be more mold in a ship with these windows in the room 😢 and more broken A/C
Thanks for your comment and for taking the time to watch the room tour. Celebrity has had this style room since 2018 without issues and they are also on Apex, Beyond and also the new Accent. They are loved and booked up on each sailing.
Some things look similar to the rooms on Celebrity and some aren't. Celebrity does look more upscale but I don't like the lack of color in those staterooms (or much color). This at least has more color. I honestly don't do verandas but if I did, this slow moving window and even slower blinds/shade would not do it for me.

I would be mad if i requested a balcony room and i got a room that the window opens and they call that a balcony room.
