Great movie. Chemistry with CMM and JL was fantastic. Should be a part II with same cast. Best Christmas movie I saw this year. Feel good movie which we needed terribly this Christmas.

But who visits family for the holidays and brings 4 winter coats???? Hayley looked good and all, & I loved her coat changes, but who does that??? Coats aside, I love that Hayley & Paul get together in the end!! ❤

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda sad that CMM career has end up at starting in Christmas movies. Those are like the last hope for a dying TV star's career and I hoped that something like that wouldn't happen with CMM
Yup im sad too since I’m a Chad Michael Murray fan 😔. And the fact that he’s only 38 and still looks great.
Just hoping in the future that he really won’t go down that path(looking a lot like it now) but oh well, i still have my fantasies and dreams that and he’ll still have this one more big lead role in a future movie/show or something. I feel like Chad can really shine in those action thriller genres b/c i really love and enjoyed his bad boy side 🤣
It's difficult to get steady acting work and Holiday movies are a guaranteed paycheck for actors. Also many demographics watch Hallmark Christmas Movies
Although I don't mind CMM doing holiday movies, the first one he did was in 2010, he should be in bigger film and TV productions as well. His potential was wasted by Hollywood in the 2010s; in the first half of the decade he had some big roles on TV but the shows themselves weren't big and got cancelled, but in the second half he only did indie films. I hope in the _Freaky Friday_ sequel he is back in some capacity.

I liked the wholesome holiday traditions but chad Michael Murray had inconsistent accents and was definitely trying to copy mcconaughey down to the mannerisms.Jessica Lowndes was 1 note, no depth very stale awkward delivery-very hard to watch. The fact that the mother has dementia is just glazed over as part of the plot line
Totally agree. I thought Michael Murray was mimicking Johnny Depp and not his usual acting which made it very annoying.

For those browsing trailers like I do, here’s my thoughts: Boring, no drama that is really all that exciting very cliche. Great cast, but didn’t really like it. Had good potential in the beginning but just failed I think in a lot of ways. Think these movies need more plots other than that just meeting someone and falling in love and cheesy lines.
