Kelvin Benjamin did not ask for a trade in 2017. The trade came as a shock to many of the players on the Panthers.
Benjamin showed up to training camp out of shape in 2017, not 2016..

He did had the best college QB ever throwing him the ball. But kelvin was special I wanted him to succeed so bad.
My favorite Kelvin Benjamin story is Josh Allen's rookie year he asked him if he wanted to go throw before the game and Benjamin looked him dead in the eye and said no.

So my roommate and good friend at FSU actually played on the team during the Jameis natty years and knows Kelvin. He told me that even in college he HATED working out and that basically caught up with him in the NFL. We spoke to a former team staff member at an LSU game tailgate this season and she told us he said he is over and done with football now. Like damn man.
Brandin Cooks is the most underrated and under appreciated WR in the league.

I feel like Watkins could have been better had he been the #1 receiver his whole career, stayed away from injury, and kept out of drama. He could have been amazing.
He still is. He randomly has these crazy 150+ yard games then maybe pops out another one. He's very good though.

There’s one wide receiver from that draft class that could’ve been a top receivers in the NFL right now is Martavis Bryant (4th Round) from the Steelers. With his size and speed he seemed destined for greatness in the league. He could’ve been a Number 1 receiver for the Steelers. But he couldn’t stay away the off-field that holds back with his full pontential.

It still pains me to this day that we had the potential to actually get Cam Newton a legit WR1 like Davante Adams and ended up with a lazy, toxic, mediocre Kelvin Benjamin
Even worse Kelvin might be the reason why Cam's shoulder issues started. Cam threw a pick against the Chargers on a lazy route by Benjamin and then Benjamin didn't even attempt to tackle the DB which meant Cam had to haul ass to tackle him and he ended up injuring his shoulder.
Could have been the difference in our super bowl 50 appearance
That's just looking at it in hindsight. Maybe Adams became who is now because of Rodgers. Who knows what he would've looked like with Cam.
It's not like Cam turned out to be any better.
davante was BAD his first couple seasons like he was almost cut his progression since then has been insane and cam wouldnt have done anything for his development
I’m glad KTO knows that Mike Evans basically made Johnny manziel, I can’t tell you how many times I watch Manziel just throw a pray up to Evans and watch that man come down with the ball lol
Also don't forget Manziel had Jake Matthews blocking for him; Matthews was drafted #6 that year, still starting for the Falcons

Facts, if he goes for 1k again with Blaine Gabbert, or Kyle Trask…. And have over 10k yards, He’s definitely gotta make it
He is very consistent and flies low under the radar. Feels like a Frank Gore. Slowly but surely rising up in the stats while very few people notice.
@@howardbaxter2514 My biggest concern for him is his size. Receiver's that are big tend to slow down and can't adjust as easily as someone smaller than them. And he isn't known for being fast. But he's a future HOF'er no doubt.
I used to question if evans would make the HOF. Not anymore 1,000 yards in every season is insane.

Martavis bryant is one of the most underrated receivers ever. This dude was almost equal in play style to AB
That shir was like to ABs on the same team luckily for the leauge Bryant couldn’t stay on the field wether it was suspensions or injury.

I really wish the patriots kept Brandin Cooks. Loved what that guy brought to the team. It’s crazy how he’s only had 2 years without 1k yards, it speaks volumes to just how productive he is

This video just reinforces, as a Bills fan, how absurd it was for the Bills to trade up for a skill position. We can already see how loaded the class was, and they left University of Buffalo’s Khalil Mack on the board. So glad management now has some competency

Anthony Miller multiple pro bowls, Flipper Anderson one of the best deep threats of his era holds the record for most rec yards in a game, Brian Blades pro bowl, Brett Perriman solid number 2 WR, Quinn Early solid WR, Michael Haynes solid deep threat. No other draft has this much depth at WR
@CJ White Thats nothing compare to Irvin Brown and Sharpe who should be a hofer Then You have Anthony Miller 5 time pro bowler those top 4 Wrs are clearly a better group than the top 4 from 96. Then You have Pro bowler Brian Blades and Flipper Anderson who holds the record for most yards in a game and has several big plays in the postseason. Then Solid starters Mike Haynes Quinn Early and Brett Perriman . Its really not even close 88 wins easy
I think Martavis Bryant was also in this draft. He was insanely talented for the Steelers but sadly had a bunch of personal issues that derailed his career. It’s a shame too because he was fun to watch with AB and Lev Bell on those Steelers teams

Adams’ walk-off in Cleveland will always be a memory I hold closely knowing that Cleveland had a chance to win but blew there lead with 17 seconds left and then threw a pick in OT. Their only real chance to win a game in 2017 smh.

Odell Beckham Jr. will definitely be remembered as one of the greats of his generation for all the reasons you mentioned. I know he isn't everyone's favorite but you can't easily deny his record.

Loving this current theme. My suggestion - 2013 O-Line class. 4 drafted very early, couple from the middle rounds are amongst the best today. Given what a flop that year was for QBs and defenders, O-line was one of the few things that turned out well.

As a Panthers fan, all I can say is that if Kelvin had a better work ethic, he would of been like most of these guys: a solid career.
The last time Evans didn't get 1k yards was his senior year of highschool, his first full season of playing football on an apparently run heavy team
Most definitely was a run heavy offense in HS.
This class of WR’s was epic. Evans, adams, OBJ, cooks, Landry, Robinson, some great football being played by these guys still!

Kelvin could have been something special if he stayed in shape, besides Agent 89 he is still the best WR Cam Newton has ever played with.... and that really says something.
OBJ really filled in Bobby Trees' void real well once he got used to the system.
I still stand by the fact that if he didn't go down in the Superbowl, it wouldn't be as close as it was.
That last sentence pretty much goes without saying, lol. They were about to blow out the Bengals before the injury. Afterwards, the offense struggled badly.

I've always wondered why so many teams moved on from Cooks. My guess would be he's not a great teammate, but I have heard nothing to corroborate that.
Tbh I have no idea. The saints I could see but in New England and Los Angeles many players and coaches praised him so 🤷🏾♂️
He's good enough that every team would likes him on their squad, but not great enough to prevent him from being traded. That's my best guess.

I’m gonna have to disagree with Adams being the best overall receiver. I think it is Evans. Evans pretty much was great from the very beginning and has recorded 1000 yds each in his entire 8 seasons played. It’s even more impressive when you realize he only had Brady for 2 of those seasons and before that his best QB was prob Winston. Adams took a little while to really become a great receiver. It wasn’t until his 5th season where he finally got 1000 yds in a single season. Also he had AARON RODGERS his entire career throwing him the ball. Adams is definitely number 2 tho but I think Evans has had the better overall career (so far anyway).
Over the whole career, yes. Mike Evans has most certainly become a guaranteed HOF'er, and had a better career, but as of right now, Adams is definitely the better receiver.

Insane how stacked this receiver class was, I don't think we'll ever see anything like it. 2020 and 2021 might also end up being incredible receiver classes, but I'm not sure if it's going to be as great as this one was.
I was at the college game where Odell did the one handed catch for a touchback... The stadium was kind of loud and unfocused, a lot of people still getting back to their seats, when he caught the ball everyone went quiet. It was insane, like a switch was flipped the sound off. Seemed like the stadiums internal monologue was variations of 'did he really just do that?!" And that was in UGA no less.
