We finally have it back! Our twin turbo audi r8 has been getting worked on for over a year and now we can fully enjoy it. There are a few things we do need to fix however, especially since this sucker has been wrecked before. We'll get it, stay tuned! - Jak na to + styl
Hi guys, great to see the R8 back. Just noticed at 23:25 that one of your rear tire is mounted inside out. Have a look at it, it could have bad consequences at high speed. keep those builds coming guys.

Let's face it, this car is going to be throw on the back lift and only used for special occasions or for back drop.
Out of your entire lineup, which is quite impressive, the R8 is my absolute fav. Such a sick ride.

They do look sick! Mean and fast looking but somewhat simple and not too over the top. I know Audi and Lamborghini share alot of parts.

Im surprised sheepy didnt even bother checking to see why the car was wobbly after each pull. I know they were paid to fix the transmission and motec but still. Diagnose and possibly an easy fix. They were quick to assume frame damage due to accident history.
Time is money for auto shops. Why waste time fixing something you weren’t paid to do? Thats like going for an oil change and getting pissed because they didn’t fix your broken CD player. Waste of time. Any issue that the car had when Sheepey received the car was not on him to fix if it wasn’t on the bill.
I knew someone was going to say this they build turbo kits they’re to big to check things like that. Car has a accident history they’re not going to chase issues that doesn’t involve them

Happy to finally see the R8 back! But guys, PLEASE! PLEASE! Properly torque the centerlock wheels on the Porsche 911 before you keep driving it! A few ugga duggas from the impact gun are NOT enough for those wheels, they have a very specific torqueing sequence to make sure it never comes loose, just call the dealer for the proper torque specs or watch a video on how to do it properly.
Definitely will torque it properly!!! We just had to get a rip in around town right quick

For a year some of us have been asking about it and you two did well keeping mouths shut without saying a word. Suuuuuch a beautiful car. Hands down my favourite one.

I'm just glad you kept it classy and didn't respond to the disrespect shown by sheepy. They didn't have to slander the car like like they did especially knowing it was an incomplete rebuild being done in a backyard garage (at the time). They could have chose to complement you on the progress with minimal tools and pointed out mistakes and or things you can still improved but they chose slander....fuck them and their sheep followers.... they had the car for a year which is ridiculous! You as their client were patient with their work process and them moving locations but they chose to repay that with disrespect. That's life though, you live and learn, it's always good to see how people truly are so you know who to stay away from and not to get involved with in the future. They damaged their own reputation when they could have used the opportunity to gain.
Anyways I'm glad the beast is back and we can see it being completed in the new garage with the new tools.

We know from Stradman's experience that B-Rogue is a disaster but trade or not, shame on Sheepy Race for returning the car in that condition. Alex would not like his own property treated so poorly.

Let's be honest sheepy did a shit job pretty sure they had to pull that bolt when they did the trans and whats up with the turbos not being properly secured

They had it a year..damaged the bonnet, didn’t clean it, didn’t do the aliment, said how bad it drove and they didn’t notice a loose bolt…wow 😮

Obviously different in America 🇺🇸, been a vehicle technician for 19years in the uk 🇬🇧 and every car gets a vehicle health check which would highlight those sort of issues and every car gets a valet 🤷🏼♂️ especially with the money I imagine was involved

When you re-build/do re-work. Good idea to get a paint marker of your own color, and when you go through for a double check and double check the torque on all bolts and nuts, paint a littl line on it to show yourself you did it twice... This way you dont miss an important bolt being lose, like your suspension that could drop out while driving.
you guys are living my dream.since i was a young adult i hve always dreamed of getting a wrecked car and rebuilding it back to my specs.

What a blast of a car one of my favorites so sad that you guys want to sell it I know you guys have a lot of builds but man for me this one is a keeper to the collection to add a turbo v10, following you guys since the blue jeep and Subaru keep it killing it and continue making us and you guys happy here a fan for ever, would be a blast meeting you guys one day!

Glad to see the R8 back in its home! I think it's pitiful that Sheepy returned it to you filthy and with some pretty significant issues. I'm sure you guys paid a lot for the repairs and for them to take over a year to do the repairs and for them to return it like that is unacceptable.

They should send someone one to help guys, those exhaust hanger not being installed is 100% their fault... and if they were an actual reputable race shop they would have taken care of those other small issues. what a disgrace! you guys are are awesome for bitting your tongue, I don't know that I would be able to do the same.

All they fixed was the trans and put a motec in, in over a year. Still trying to figure that out. With that amount of time, they should have fixed every square inch of the vehicle and put a built trans lol

When sheepy posted a video it took them 1 or 2 days to rebuild the transmission.

Sheepy would of easily fixed the pulling problem is they took the car to get an alignment like they originally wanted too. it’s kind of wild that it just sat around for a year collecting dust. Sheepy is as legit as it comes I think Alex just didn’t want anything to do with b rouge. He kinda did screw the boys on this one tho say what you want but he had the car for over a year and they literally fixed the transmission like 2 weeks then it just sat around. Something’s not adding up
Yup. I feel that’s what it was too. Just didn’t sit to well with Alex having the r8 in his shop with a b roque kit in it.
You can tell they didn’t put any love into it. Enough to stamp their name on the side of the car like they did (the sticker).

Sheepy was paid to fix the transmission, add MoTec, and tune it. That's exactly what they did.
especially before test driving it seemed like they hacked it together quickly.

Another excellent build guys ! R 8 is sick but ….. Scary is the perfect description of what it is . That’s a race car and if you’re not going to race it makes no sense as a daily driver. I’m sure that you can get top dollar for it with all of the mods and tuning in it !

Rear tyres aren't installed correctly, the rotation direction is off on one of them. You can see it when you reverse off the alignement machine
Those tires are like that. They don't make different tires for the left and right, so the tread is reversed. Kind of odd. Toyo Proxes R8888R.
nope, they are asymetrical, that is true, but they have an outside and an inside. one of the rear wheels has the "outside" in the inside. the groove in the middle should be mirrored , but the threads would be reversed direction to each other

glad the r8 is back home, that thing is a legit monster. wish shep had done a better job....a year later and its back that janky? woof. also hope that stock tranny holds. hopefully upgraded the clutch and flywheels and all that jazz. a nice gintani upgrade complete with pipes and a flame tune is in order
It's embarrassing it took them over a year to fix a transmission and install Motec, and couldn't even be bothered to check for loose bolts and even wash the bloody thing. I would peel that Sheepy race sticker off immediately. The fact it took them over a year to do the absolute bare minimum they were asked says a lot about their attitude, and them as people.

I’m sure it has more to do with content creation, these CZcamsr contracts are always more than meets the eye. Also people need to understand that places like sheepey aren’t “mechanics” per se. They aren’t Audi technicians, they make turbo kits and bolt them on. They don’t do alignments. I have an R8 and if my issue is outside my turbo kit I take it to an Audi tech.
I can’t believe they returned it to you guys that dirty. They should’ve detailed it at a minimum. You can see the grimy mechanic fingerprints all over it.

The R8 is one of my favorite cars and you have the cleanest and best-looking one. It's one of the sickest builds on this Channel, Period! Keep it, don't sell it. This along with the Viper are keepers.

I need a FULL breakdown. Like they did back at the original Goonzquad garage. Every vehicle, broken down to whether they're keeping it, selling it, or plan to give it away like they did for their 2 million subscriber special.

How do these guys do crazy ripping on city streets and not get the police after them haha. The shop that had this for a year should've had every little thing fixed/tightened and perfect.
But that isnt what it was sent there for ! They were contracted to rebuild the trans and fix the fuel system ! It sounds like the first guy that made mods on the car screwed up !

I would have thought with Sheepy Race having that car over a year it would have came back dialed. I know they didn't originally build the car but it is what it is.
