All the scenes where Barry dreams of being in a purgatory cut together, with some crossfade where the cuts are. Enjoy! (All the footage from HBO's Barry)
@@awkward_bombi say this everytime, seasons 2-3 of every show are when it meets its identity peaks and show some of its most iconic and simply fucking daring moments
This is like an episode of the 80s series The Equalizer. An episode called Sea Of Fire. McCall tries to scare a school gang straight and introduces them to a hit man, played by a then unknown David Straitharn, who tells of a near death dream where he’s standing on an ocean shore (a sea of fire) surrounded by the people he’s killed when God walks past him. It was rehashed for a Canadian series starring Nick Mancuso and Carrie moss about a hit man who gets a chance at redemption and to save his soul by saving others.
Or maybe barry only saw people who had murdered someone? We've never seen janice kill anyone on screen and most people there are like gang members. Alternatively, only people who barry or his subcontious considers "evil" are there. Both theories are kind of weak tho so idk
I feel like the purgatory dream is Barry coming to terms with the people he’s killed. For some, it’s easy. Many are either self-defense kills or kills necessary for Barry to get out of the life. Janice is the only kill that was purely for personal gain, without any justification set up. Janice’s absence here could be seen as foreshadowing. Barry has so many ghosts in his closet but it’s the one he can’t really remember or come to grips with that brought about his downfall.
that transition from the street to the beach is so trippy
season 3 really was some shit lol

They are all just waiting for Barry to arrive to move on

Fun fact the blonde motocross rider is Jolene from nitro circus 🎪:)
who? lmao
Wasn't she killed by the car salesman technically. She shouldn't be in purgatory
@N_ V I think it was mainly based off a foreshadowing of her brother or that so he(barry) felt the guilt
@@Death66636yeah I don't think barry is in purgatory more like inside a dream
I never understood why Janice Moss was not present here
Scheduling conflicts? Lol

@@talentlessstudios2422 never thought about this theory, not that weak in my opinion, kinda makes sense... Or just the actress was busy, who knows? 😂
