Your plant is a calathea type, right?😉 these are one of the hardest to keep alive, but also one of the most beautiful ones...same opinion you're overwatering it, probably the roots are rotted. This means pull them out the soil, cut of all the rotted parts, wash off all the soil and put it in a glass or vase just with water and leave it in water for couple of weeks until it grows new healthy roots. And of course change the water all week😉 this should help if its not already too late. Maybe also cut off the most crusty leafes because this gives the plant the opportunity to focus its energy on growing new roots :) hope this helps
I appreciate this! Thank you 😊 I actually decided to water it the next day because the soil was just too dry for me and I woke up to it perked up a little! BUT I agree, I need a bigger pot because the roots are starting to grow out of the bottom so that will be my next move. I appreciate you 😊
Also! Yes, I have been cutting the very dead leaves off which is helping. I also might need to start watering with filtered water? I’ll try it lol.
