Noah, you should do a review the MG soleplate for the futures! The short conical studs look like they would a be perfect solution for the long FG studs. Love the video!

I have yeah! The lockdown issues have more to do with the fit in the heel and the fact that the upper doesn’t have substantial lateral stabilization

great review, never woulda thought that super long studs would be so problematic on AG pitches where they dont even properly give leeway to move freely once the foot is planted.
also Noah, playing in the second division pro league of the U.S, would you have a rough idea whats the most popular boot silos amongst your team, and opposing teams? curious because theres no real site offering what soccer players are wearing over in the states like there is for the european players.
Just depends mate! Some guys wear GXs, Copas, Tiempos, and even some Asics and Mizuno!

Probably the Predator! Might take you some time to break in the midfoot but they'll be great in the toe box

I have old puma ultras and x15 in a 9 and they are too small. wear superfly and mecurials now in a 9.5, do you think a 9 is the way to go for these?
@@danielmeyer5817 a true 9 I’m puma future is a size 8.5. I’d go half a size down in these if I was you. I only went a full size down as I have a narrow foot

Personally I’ve found issues with the durability of the inner liner in the heel area. Idk if it was just my pair but it ripped near the padding extremely early

I have these I’m normally a 10 but I did go with 9.5 and it feels pretty solid some pressure in the forefoot but I always get blisters in the heel Achilles tendon area no matter what boot I wear. Any recommendations?
I would probably go with something like a Morelia 2 MIJ
Its a very good half a year boot, after a while I needed to glue the sole plate and replace the foot lining. Also don't use laceless in the rain. Still, pretty good and worth trying the new 7 model. Nothing is perfect.

Hey Noah, random but do you ever get the feeling that your feet/toes literally feels like a frozen ice block (numbness too) when playing on a cold windy night ? I have been getting this sensation & its horrible Nick if you can relate. Please how would you recommend fixing it ? My boots are tight but idk if this could be the reason
😂 Absolutely bro! Happened for the first 2 months of pre-season this past year! The only thing that helped me was getting warm and training hard. Sometimes it was so cold that feeling didn't go away, but my philosophy is: when it comes to cold, heat, or other external factors, as long as it won't get me injured, the pain/discomfort doesn't matter. I'm on the pitch to perform and my success doesn't give a S**T if I'm in pain. 🔥

Not related to the vid but I have been trying to break in my adizero F50s for almost two months and they are still causing me some problems (blisters and such). I remember watching ur review on these so, do u have any tips? I was thinking of soaking them in warm water, would u recommend this?

@@NoahCavanaugh Alright I got the boots. So the thing is, I haven't played/trained in it yet. But generally the heel feels a tiny bit stiff (I would've loved more padding). It feels like it just might slip out if I make sudden movement. The soleplate feels significantly more stiff, whether thats good or not (it does give platform to sprint faster with snapback). But it's not the most comfortable soleplate. I reckon the extra stud and conical ones will fit well on AGs though. The upper feels a little cheap too. It has a little wrinkle which gives slight bite right in front of the inside area of forefoot where the zigzag line ends.
Fit wise, however, it is perfect. I have never felt this good on a football boot (I went half a size down too). Absolutely no hotspot, even right out of the box, I don't feel it to be super snug. It actually gives enough room for me and I think it will soften up more later on.
Overall, I'd say the only problem with this is heel. It might just be my footshape, but it just doesn't feel... 'nice'. Feels a little shallow-ish, and thats why I would've preferred more padding. It's not bad but it's not 'good' if it makes sense. The collar knit also doesn't even wrap around my ankles, and it's just, there. It exists without purpose.
I like many aspects but not sure if I love them... I haven't had a chance to play in Ultimate so I can't give you exact comparison.

@@czer8241bro I also have the pros and I’ve played/trained in them and a lot of the things you mentioned I’ve felt, however the critical issue for me is the heel, it constantly gives me pressure to the point where I might get blisters, I’m hoping with more time in them, that might improve so I’m not going to be too quick to bash it, but it doesn’t feel “great”. The upper does feel quite cheap especially for the price at $170 (Canadian price btw) the upper feels kind of flappy and not well-built which is probably going to lead to issues durability wise..
Overall they are good for the money and quite comfortable, but the heel just doesn’t feel good and it’s definitely something I will have to adjust to.. but I like them, but I’m not sure if I will enjoy them down the road if these issues persist..
Which do you prefer between the Mercurial Vapor 15 Elite & the Future Ultimate ?
I only fit in the futures, but I would take the vapors if I fit in those!
Ive had to return 3 of these. All of them ripped and seperated from the sole plate. I love these but the durability is so bad. 3 sessions in you already got some separation.
Do you recommend a similar boot that is good for wide feet that can actually last a full season.

It might be a weird question but how would you compare this to GX? AG Soleplate ofc.
They’re a bit similar in that they’re both very soft textile based/knit uppers, the GX has a better soleplate in my opinion and a MUCH more durable upper
I was wondering if they stretch at all ? Or is the fit they have out of the box stay the same ? I have really wide feet and they feel just a smitch to tight. But, will they stay that way or will they stretch ?

I wouldn’t recommend it because of 1) the studs, and 2) the durability. Much better options on the market

The new preds are wider than these in the toe box area, and I tend to prefer these outside of the long studs

i have wide feet but after hearing that u had wide feet and still went half a size down makes me confused. im wearing the nike mercurials vapor 15 at the moment in a size 42 1/2 eu and have a thumbs width of space in the toebox so would it be better for me if i went true to size on the pumas which is 42 eu for me or should i go half a size down or even a full size down
Definitely a 1/2 or even a full size down if you have that much room in the Vapors
Maybe a comment that comes much too late, but please note that Nike and puma don't have the same conversion from us size to eu sizes. I wear a size 10 us Nike (44) and size 10 us puma would be size 43. In the puma king Mirai I get away with my usual size 10, but these are really roomy at size 10, so I would suggest that you go half a size down based on US sizes, which would mean in my case going down from an Nike 44 to a puma 42,5.
I was gonna get a puma future ultimate but in my country its really expensive but mizuno's are really cheap (90 dollars for the elite 💀)

I had these cleats they broke after a month the whole thing fell apart after 3-4 months, would not recommend puma futures
Yeah... Durability was an issue for some of my teammates as well! Poor from Puma
For me the puma future is a 7/10 there not to grippy on the ball there not that snappy and thee studs are just so long in my opinion
