The train "guard" ? My dad, at the end of WW2 , travelled back from South Africa , it took him days. The last leg of the journey was a train to Liverpool Lime Street. He was so tired after travelling for days, he fell asleep and woke up in Edinburgh.He didn't wake up at Liverpool and the train carried on to Scotland. He had to get another train all the way back to Liverpool. 😂

You looked great Kim with the make up you did and I liked the finished result. I also enjoyed the stories and was reminded of the times that I used to travel to work and back on the bus. I have a car now and you are right I do miss the dramas and the chats that I used to have with other travellers.

Hi Kim, great stories, when i used to live near Huddersfield years ago i didnt have a car and had to use 2 buses to get to work from Slaithwaite to Brighouse and when coming home from work idon't know how many times i ended up in Homfirth and had to get another bus home. you have really gave me a laugh today between the toilet story and your hair stuck in the door keep them coming, take care see you soon J x

I live in the Midlands, but my Mother was born in Keighley, she had 4 other siblings. Two lived in Selby, one lived in Blackpool, and the other moved to Rugby. All married. That highlighter looked nice Kim, a other You tuber had that highlighter and she loved it. That foundation suits you. Your a hoot. So funny. 😂

Laughed so much about the coach trip. I've recently gone from the Midlands up to the North East on a coach. That was an eye opener. I can understand everything you say. Some people are just plain ignorant xx

I love story time,the makeup looks grand on you Kim the ps foundation has great coverage,I have to get taxies into town we had a bus 🚌 and when the pandemic hit they stopped it London is crazy for rushing it's a long time since I was their I don't miss that was a nightmare with kids and a pram getting on tube trains,you allways get the drama on transport I used to look other way 🤣making a scene is not going to help them,got locked on to a train here someone pressed wrong light me n me sister had a long journey up to a diff city and back and been laughed at by the conducters 🤣🤣🤣my Irish accent they were totally confused 🤣🤣❤

My husband is broad Norfolk. When we moved to Essex we were in a pub and ordered 2 Coca Cola. The barman presented us with 2 bottles of Holsten Pils which we tried to explain we didn't want but the barman became really angry as he had already removed the tops. No matter how many times my husband repeated 2 Coca-Cola he couldn't make him understand. I then asked and he understood me but I'm also broad Norfolk!

Hi Kim only just caught up with this vlog ,loved this vlog love hearing your stories you tell as they are so real ,I can relate to the going to sleep on the bus mine was national express from Birkenhead to Talacre back in the 70s/80s on a Saturday night going to my parents caravan they would travel on Friday night,I would always fall asleep but luckily enough I would wake up just before I was due to get off thankfully, loved your makeup it really suited you xxxx

My mum and dad took the national express from Preston to London the same thing a stinky toilet the smell made my dad throw up and only place to throw up was in the toilet whilst he was throwing up he lost his false teeth down the loo.......... I will never take national express anywhere

@@fairlyaveragemum7993 they fished them out and put them in a, plastic bag they ended up getting off at the next scheduled stop and getting the train my dad was really tight with money and it wasn't as if he couldn't afford the train ticket in the first place serves him right my poor mum lol 🚂
