- What happens when you buy an old house from 1958 that you want to turn into an Airbnb? We ended up in over our heads with renovations! Everything needs to be replaced, and we've gone waaaaaay over budget. Oh, and today was demo day.

A little history on the creepy Gnome: it was part of a Christmas display at a national children's store chain where my wife works. I know because we have the exact one in our house. She brought it home because she thought it was a cute Xmas adornment, and she proudly displays it every year. The kids and I are just as creeped out about it as you and Abby, but she won't let us get rid of it. Please help me.

Why am I getting so stressed out seeing y’all destroy the cabinets! I’m like, pls, they’re in good shape, reuse them (in laundry or garage)!!! or give them to someone else 😭😭
See if there’s another place in the house that you can take a piece of flooring, but take it from a place that’s not so obvious like from a closet or a dark hallway where you could replace it with something similar and just match it with some magic markers 😅. I owned a furniture store for a while and the magic that we could do with some furniture marking pens and magic markers to make it blend in is amazing😊

I swear I just had my kids yesterday and they're 17 and 15 now lol. It does go by fast but you'll have that house full of photos, paintings, presents and memories. When you look at it all it's just years of laughter and love. Bless you and your family.
I loved this video soo much, idk why but I just love such videos where people just sit down, relax, talk about their day, show their normal regular routine. Life doesn't have to be crazy all the time and time, family, relationships are just soo precious. Abby's grandma meeting Griffin just melted my heart, I wish I could see my grandma 1 last time.

Use airy shelving units.

They grow so fast. I have 5 kids. 4 boys and the last one was a girl. And believe me she's a tuff cookie. But my oldest son is 23 now and has his own place. The biggest house I've seen in a long time. And hes redone most of it himself. And is still working on it as much as he can. He works full time and does it on days off. But I still find it hard to believe that hes 23. And the youngest is 5. They all love each other so much. But time flies so never give up a chance to have some good family time. I think y'all taking Sunday's to yourself to just chill together is awesome. Its something every family should be doing. I loved watching your family grow. It's so beautiful.

I seriously love this video so much, I smiled so big when great grandma came to visit! Ive lost both of my grandmas in the past 4 years, and they only got to meet 1 of my babies. My husband and I redid our house and we loved it! It was so much fun! We did everything too to bottom! Took us 6 months!!! We have a 20by 24 by 12 h living room!

When our son turned 6 Mos, I cried like a baby! My hubs was freaking out, wondering what was wrong with me! Post partum? Emotions? Hirmones?WTF?
I told him if the next 6 Mos go by as fast as the 1st 6 Mos, our baby will be a year old....then in school. Then in college, married. Etc... & it really did go by that fast ❤️

Why didn’t you donate the cupboards? There’s places that will take cupboards and put them in houses for the poor or people who can’t afford to buy new could’ve used those cupboards to replace their really bad ones. 🤔

My oldest son (aka my nephew but I raised my sister's 4 kids) was born when I was 13. Suddenly he about to turn 31. Where did the time go. He went from being this new born baby so small he could fit in ONE hand and now he's a grown man. Divorced, recently engaged, with a successful career living in his own home in another state. 😭😭 I'm so proud of him but I still miss my little baby. Guys be careful, blink and you LITERALLY miss it

The floors are so easy to do nowadays. They make a hard wood floor planks that just snap together. I redone my whole house after I was only going to do one room. I ended up doing the whole house and I absolutely love it.
