@@ChuteHer long and short I saw a smaller copter flying low while I was weeding a beach. Most likely either you or Devos lol. If you fly over in a few more weeks and see the pinkest lawn ever, it's hydrangeas I care for.

@@batzzz2044 I jumped Tuesday! We were only able to do a few jumps unfortunately cause of the weather. Charlevoix is so beautiful!

Do it! You won’t regret it.
There’s obviously always a chance of this happening. But it’s less likely than you think. Everyone has two parachutes so if the first one doesn’t work you have your reserve. The chances of them both having issues is unlikely.

This is actually not considered a B.A.S.E Jump.
It’s just a Skydive.
It just occurred to me, whether a helicopter lift isn't cheaper than, for example, with a C. 208 prop?
Helicopter lifts are usually more expensive than a lift in a airplane.
We have a King Air and a Pac at my home DZ and it cost $34 for a lift ticket out of those. This helicopter jump which was out of a Bell 247 I believe cost $90.

the idea of doing it on a helicopter scares me even more than a plane, on a plane jumping off is quick like ripping off a bandaid but the fact a helicopter just can hover and you can balance on the rim is so spaghetti leg enducing to me, I would have shat myself at that point 😰
I will admit I do get a little more nervous when jumping out of a helicopter. Something about falling of the skid when I’m not ready. 😂😂
