This guy was the most accurate parallel to house. We know House not only was into sports but athletic as well. He even tried to skateboard after his legs healed and was a cheerleader in college. And we know after his leg he got worse than whatever he was before. This guy relates more to House's situation than anyone else.

Nah. Could have also been that kid is immensely distressed by all that's happened and the fact that his father told him to his face that he want's to die. That would make any kid brutally confused and hopeless. Might also make the kid spiteful.

I think it was completely intended. Since you how most people say they never saw it coming. The suicidee (that's not a word, but bear with me) can also lie to himself about it. Especially when you're living through good times, you would think you have no reason to. But good times can end and it's part of your job to survive the bad times until the good times come again.

Different people have different morals. My grandpa let his father die because his lung was leaking and it hurt to breathe. My grandfather considered it the moral thing to do, rather than force my great-grandpa to an existence of agony.

God, that's cruel. Imagine being a child and hearing that you aren't worth sticking around for. I'd wonder what I did wrong. If I could do more. That's irreparable trama.
It's made worse when we see the child tries to help his father die. Lifelong scarring and trauma :(
My friend's father killed himself on my friend's birthday. My friend found him. The absolute pain you have to be in to make that decision that you can't even wait for another day to do it.
