Im not blaming black folks for that because there were many forces that held us back but in today's times there are less excuses. When you come from money/wealth you can create things like this. You can make mistakes and it wont cost you that much, you can always rebound. We as a black community have to start building wealth and pass it down to our kids so they can build great things like this.

You can tell he has mad love & respect for the artists he does business with. It’s not for the image.

Folks done took that "culture vulture" phrase and wore it straight out! All I see here is a great example of how people across ethnic lines need and can utilize each other to flourish. Completely different thought process. Do what you do, but I highly suggest that some of you stop limiting your thought process, you're cutting off angles. You need all of them angles to choose from to get where you want to be.

He seemed to downplay both Jay Z and Diddy, all while emphasizing that he uses artists for free promo and pays them nothing. He also highlighted how we wants to help and influence Black artists by showing up to jail. He is ensuring loyalty. He may care about them but he cares more about himself and his brand. There is nothing selfless or caring about his actions. His mentality is bothersome to me. Just my opinion.

We're getting to a dangerous point in the culture when we see a white businessman and immediately give him the culture vulture tag. I don't know the first thing about Brett Berish but I do know that the artists he's talking about vouch for him similar to how Meek vouched for a guy like Mike Rubin. Sometimes there are genuine businessmen from other cultures that want to see people in hip hop thrive, and help teach them the game.
Do they win too? Sure, they're businessmen not social workers that's the cloth they're cut from. But I don't think every white guy doing business with black celebs is a culture vulture. Be careful with that phrase, it's a heavy one.
