I don't think people realize that Mario is one of, if not the most powerful SMG4 character. Being able to build up enough momentum easily to travel through realities. Tear rifts in the space-time continuum with just his bare hands. Practically infinite durability. And different forms such as Buff Mario, Drip Mario, etc. Melony definitely comes in second with Tari in third

It's because Mario is literally the Avatar and is near immortal and basically immune to pain + wolverine tier regeneration. Plus he runs on meme energy or something idk. Anyone close to Mario has a portion of his powers, that's why the main cast can survive all sorts of crazy stuff that would normally kill most people like what happened to Destai or Greg. Aka Luigi, Bowser, SMG4, Fishy Boobkins, Bob, Meggy, Saiko, Tari, SMG3, Melony, etc. The closer the bond, the stronger the "death resistance." The characters with the strongest death resistance are Meggy and SMG4 followed closely by Luigi. It isn't really true immortality, more like "death resistance," since Mario CAN indeed die in extreme circumstances (such as Zero or another virus absorbing him) but otherwise he'll just come back from nearly anything that would be fatal for anyone else. This has been seen since even the classic era, it just didn't have any lore significance (existed just for "rule of funny") until the Cosmology Saga. (Meggy's New Journey through Revelations)

I’ve seen the movie in theaters a couple days ago. It was an absolute masterpiece work of art. I would definitely see this movie over and over just to relive all the nostalgic things we’ve saw Mario done over the years.

me : " the stock rocket launcher has a base damage of 90, with a max rampup of 25%, giving it a max damage of 112. it has four rockets in the clip, so its max damage is 448 a clip, ignoring minicrits, damage vulnerabilities, or random crits.
the liberty launcher has 5 rockets in the clip, but has a 25% damage penalty, so its base damage is 68, its max damage a shot is 84, and giving the same assumptions as stock for max clip damage total, it can do 420 damage.
this means that in theroy, stock is better in dps, however, its most effective to rocket jump to the front lines, witch will remove 1 or 2 rockets from the max clip before reloading. this means that the liberty launchers damage per clip in this scenario is 336, and stocks max damage is 336 aswell with one rocket missing, and 252 for liberty launcher and 224 for stock with 2 rockets missing.
therefor, sence the liberty launcher has one more rocket in the clip, aswell as a reduction in damege taken from rocket jumping, witch allows you to use a damaging secondary with less cost, the stock rocket launcher is supperoir in traditional engagements, whilst the liberty launcher is better for "rocket jump in, kill em, rocket jump out " kind of engaements, meaning the liberty launcher is a decent alternitive to the stock rocket launcher. "

I don't know why critics hate this movie. This stays true to the games, yet takes creative libraties to fit the story, especially with Mario being a sociopath. The plot, while simple, has a lot of social commentary about the economic crisis in Venezuela. Overall it's a 8/10. Would watch again
