- It's a cool, wet evening in July, and Rob happens upon a struggling swarm of honeybees in a dark corner of his forest garden.
Concerned for thier survival as dusk approaches he makes the rash decision to try to rehome them in one of his vacant Warré hives. What could go wrong?!
Join Rob as he manhandles bees into a laundry basket in this multi-part episode of Rob's Discovery.

Great upload 👌
Rob, I just love your calm energy.
Thank you 🙏🏽😊
Fascinating! And very brave... The other day I was walking in a park where the lawns had been seeded with white clover, and a bee got between my foot and the sole of my sandal, and stung me in the bottom of a toe. Had to take off the sandal to release the bee. Half my foot was swollen and itchy for a week!
Good morning Rob! Those bees looked very docile. Are they always like that when they swarm?
Hi Lelleith! Yes, honeybees are almost always docile when they swarm. At least the ones I've dealt with have been anyway 🐝😌🤔
Are they going in a Warre? 🐝🌿
Yes, indeed they are. As will be revealed in part two 🐝😉
