The quickest way is to just lean in a little deeper to the words of Christ and ask "Why" he shared certain things, especially the things that seem very simple or literal. They all have a deeper spiritual meaning behind them.

Isaiah 44:6 to Himself in Revelation 1:17-18.
And why Jesus referred to Himself as a figure that received the same worship as God, IN FRONT of God in Daniel 7:9-14, in Mark 14:62.
And why Jesus walked on water in Matthew 14:22-33, as the Spirit of God hovered over face of the waters in Genesis 1:2.
And why Jesus forgives sins like in Mark 2:5.
And why Jesus is the one to judge all (Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:22).

(1) This is not in any way, shape, or form associated with the Bible. As one deeply steeped in Biblical mysticism and spirituality, I have absolutely NO IDEA where this video is getting its info.
(2) This Bible has not been re-written multiple times, and to assert that it has shows an understanding of history derived solely from Reddit and the Da Vinci Code.
(3) "Religion" (I assume you mean Christianity) was not spread by Papal Inquisitions or by conquest, except in very few isolated instances. The vast majority of Christian conversion was won by missionaries operating in hostile environs. Take the Roman Empire itself as an example.
