Nemophila is a band formed by musicians from different bands. They are all excellent musicians. The lead singer Mayu has a colorful voice, She can sing different styles of music very well. And Nemophila is a diverse band, They do a lot of different genres of rock/metal music.
    I recommend《adabana》as the nextđŸ€˜đŸ»đŸŒžđŸ€˜đŸ»

Amazingly talented band with very diverse music. Mayu(vocalist) is an absolute fireball of energy..If you continue reacting to their music, you'll see they are not locked into any genre, they do whatever they want, and do it great !

Thank you for responding to NEMOPHILA.
NEMOPHILA is a band formed by members with top-level experience in Japan shortly before the pandemic caused by COVID-19 in 2019.
Due to the pandemic, we were not able to play live after the formation of the band, so from 2019 to 2021, we focused on You Tube distribution activities such as new studio distribution and live distribution. We have also released a lot of cover songs.
From 2022, the band started full-fledged live activities such as "Whisky a Go Go" and "AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL 2022".
Their main genre is heavy metal, but they incorporate various genres that other heavy metal bands do not play. And although their songs are heavy, they usually play in an unpretentious and relaxed atmosphere.
    Their songs never betray them!
Please continue to react to NEMOPHILA!

Nemophila in USA Tour March 2023: 07 Sacramento, 08 San Francisco, 09 Los Angeles, 14 Houston, 16/17 Austin (SXSW), 19 Dallas, 20 New York.
The drummer plays fast? Watch Tamu play on another X JAPAN video / 箅(KURENAI) English Version [Cover by NEMOPHILA] czcams.com/video/Bd3Ss30FZjg/video.html (X Japan is the most famous Japanese band and Kuranai is its most famous song, a classic of the classics. Beautiful with a very deep layer, history in the background).
However, the queen of speed is probably Mari (Mary's Blood, former band of guitarist Nemophila. The one who plays the first solo here). Arcadia: czcams.com/video/y3PTadCqtoM/video.html Very fast, very melodic with a brilliant riff. I guarantee this fif will go over your head.

Great reaction video! You can choose any song. You will always be pleasantly surprised. Their musical style is something like a colorful firework of all genres in heavy sound. I highly recommend Adabana and Life songs. Adabana is a more metal song and one of the best songs of 2022 with mayu®s clean and harsh vocals! Life is a rockier and more emotional song with mayu®s clean vocals! Absolutely melodic and harmonious beauty! This band is one of the best metal/rock bands today. Have a good day 🙂.

"neh-mo-fee-lah" (there is no "i" sound at the end), but don't feel bad, everyone gets it wrong, lol! It's the name of a flower, commonly called Baby Blue-eyes. It's an interesting name choice, considering it is native to the Americas, but is not commonly found in Japan. Nemophila is widely viewed as one of the trifecta of elite-talent Japanese female hard rock and metal bands, along with Lovebites and Band-Maid. There are many more that are well-known in Japan and among Japanophiles, but those are the three probably best known to Western audiences.

The Nemophila rabbit is definitely worth it. They've only been around for around 3 years but their official channel has a ton of content, especially live tracks. You can listen to 20 songs and each one will be uniquely different. On their channel they have a bunch of live rehearsal tracks where they play Pop, Classic Rock, Hard Rock and Metal covers. Their sound is not only limited to metal. These ladies are extraordinary professional musicians who just happen to love playing metal. A real quick bio, they where formed when the singer Mayu was getting a band together to do a one off solo project. As for Mayu, she's got great range and a versatile beautiful voice. It especially shines during the live rehearsals because of all the different styles of music they're covering. Anyway, she got bassist Haraguchi, who was a schoolmate, to join and then they recruited drummer Tamu. Now Tamu might look like she's only 19 lol, but she has an impressive resume. Tamu is one of the most sought out session musicians in Tokyo and has laid down drum tracks for styles ranging from Jazz, Pop, and Prog-Metal plus she's also accomplished on other instruments like the piano, jazz sax, and xylophone. Tamu also is a drum instructor for a well known music school. So the chain continues and Tamu gets Saki, another well respected musician on guitar and Saki recruits the other guitarist Hazuki who is also an exceptional musician and artist. So this was suppose to be a one off project and most of them already had their own successful things going on, but the ladies had such a great time through the rehearsal and performance that they decided to make it permanent. One think you will notice as you listen to it more is how tight the bond of love and friendship this young ladies have for each other. You can actually FEEL that energy in their live videos and you also can tell its real by how they act when they're not even aware the camera is rolling. There's a great vlog on the YoungGuitar channel where they chronical the band's first performance before a live audience post lockdown. After the show each member talks about their journey up to that point and speak on their appreciation for each other. It gets pretty emotional and Haraguchi breaks down when talking about what that moment means to her. There's also a live music video for the song "Life" (about not giving up, overcoming roadblocks, gaining strength from pain) and in it the drummer Tamu has just returned from maternity leave after having her second child. It was a new song and this was the first live performance of it. During the performance, the band forms a half-circle facing the drum kit and plays it to Tamu to show her how much she was missed during her maternity leave. That got emotional too. This bond is what I think makes them so great and why I believe they're going to blow up internationally. You don't have to understand Japanese to feel the energy they're putting out. I personally can't wait for them to come back here and I'm definitely going to the closest show. Welcome to the Nemophila family!
