Video showing my 11yo has started landing left of center when throwing a fastball, and unable to locate pitches. I double check with you (as always), and will now help him make the correction. Thank you!

This is good stuff. Love your videos. Thank you. Minor suggestion. Pistons connect to the crankshaft. Transmission and rear differential are connected by a drive shaft.

Pistons use connecting rods to fasten to a crankshaft

Great stuff as usual, Brent! I was giving a pitching lesson the other day and the Dad was wondering why I was having his son stride to the right of the target line. This will add to my explanation next time it happens.

If you want back problems you'll land on your heel. As soon as i learned to land on the balls of my feet, things got a lot better for me.

This is throwing across the body and tough to do with all of the twisting you have to do to get the ball to the catcher. When you teach pitchers who don't use those mechanics, can they throw strikes with their eyes closed? Why not point the foot directly to your target and align your front foot with your back heel?

Hey, is there a video on supination of the arm going from loaded to release? My arm is like a windmill which is probably why I never have any elbow pain. Recently I’ve been practicing on creating supination instead of resisting it by trying to rotate my shoulder back and slightly lead with the elbow then pronate once the elbow is about to go past my face.

So when I teach 9-10 year olds that their front foot strike should land in a straight line from the center of their drive foot, slight closed, is correct and most productive?
    Thanks for the great content.

Hi Brent, I’m looking for a drill to reduce that aggressive front leg rotation. A few of my pitchers do this and it leads to landing front foot open -10 degrees and velo losses. Any ideas?

Having the same problem with one of my pitchers. I’m making him do the rocker drill with an emphasis on finishing over a slightly closed front foot and a braced front leg/femur …. Although i admit i’m making all my pitchers get aligned heel-to-heel. I might try Brent’s method next time out :)

You're a fucking beast dude. I was landing too open and that force was hurting my land leg. This feels like It made the timing easier to feel if that makes sense.
