- A speeding driver apparently bribes a police officer with a doughnut to get out of a fine - and he surprisingly appears to accept it. The Fulshear policeman, of Texas, seemingly pulled over a man for driving too fast. However when the officer asked to see the driver's licence he could not find it - so decided to 'bribe' the officer with a sugary treat.

This really happened to me about 9 years ago. Officer spotted my Doughnut box in the front seat, and the policeman asked me are they fresh. I said yes sir.
I told him i'll trade you a doughnut for a NO TICKET TODAY. He said it's a deal.. We both sat there for about 20 minutes and told jokes, laughed a lot, exchanged
life stuff, shake hands and we were on our way. Coolest cop i have ever seen.

I love how he was so quick to make sure no one was watching this interaction, then the way he retracted his arm so quickly to be extra sure that the doughnut was secured, and ready for presidential escort.
Besides him taking a bribe like that, that is how every public servant should act. He was very cordial and respectful just doing his job and no power trip what so ever.
Yes the cop was respectful but so was the driver. I got pulled over once for speeding and was polite and so was the cop.

In my area, the cops used to leave unmanned cop cars to scare people into slowing down, but they kept coming to find a box of donuts left in the front seat or on the windshield.

You don't need to ask for permission to film them if you're part of the encounter.
I know this video is old but if you look closely at the officer's sunglasses, you can tell the vehicle that he "pulled over" is a cop car.
and if your fast enough, at the absolute beginning of the video you can hear the officers radio (the one whos recording)
