    Last year he has 6 comeback wins with his team down by 10 or more while having the 31st ranked defense. Tell me of another QB that did that!

      That is a VERY impressive stat...he will have ALOT of pressure on him this year...he has weapons everywhere....he needs to have a bounce back season because he did not look good during that meltdown. If he struggles this year the philly fans and media will have the knives out for him...saying he has been exposed by nfl defenses.

    When Hurts had a competent OC for two consecutive years, he was a top 3 QB in the league. He was held back by his playcallers last year. I expect him to take a huge leap with Kellen Moore this year, despite a slow start.

      I still find it bizarre that Sirianni, who was previously an OC before becoming the head coach at Philly, has seemingly zero input on the Eagles' offense. Like wtf was he doing at Indy that he can't design his own plays in Philly?

    The thing that is never brought up with Jalen is that when he had an OC for back to back years is when he flourished. Every other season he has had a new OC. If he had stability at OC, then he would be able build even more which would be scurry.

      i’m a birds fan but this is overblown. how many qbs get that luxury? OCs that don’t want to be head coaches are rare nowadays. maybe birds should get an offensive HC instead of siri cuz the HC will stick around and keep they plays the same. and i don’t even think siri is a bad coach but may be a bad coach for this qb if he needs stability so bad.

So, you're saying it was just a coincidence that THE ONE time he actually had an OC for more than a year, he made the SB and almost won the SB?? Do you think Patrick Mahomes had different OCs and has always just looked great? No. He's been coddled his entire career with the SAME OC EVERY year. The ONE year his OC left, Mahomes stats went down. I guess you think that was just a coincidence too? 🙄

      This should be more of a concern with a head coach that comes from a defensive background, not a head coach who comes from an offensive one.

    I’m excited to see how Hurts has improved. He has the best offensive talent he’s had in his career. I think less is more with Hurts. When he gets into throwing 35-40 times is not a good thing. Around the 25-30 mark is going to be the sweet spot in my opinion. Rely on Barkley and the run game, and hopefully the defense talent upgrades translate in the field as well.

    Simms I love ya but you said Daniel Jones’s is a better thrower of the football than hurts last year. On top of saying Kyler is a way better qb just a few months ago.

    I have him at a strong 6. From what we've seen and his growth he can be elite on any given Sunday, but doesn't do it consistently enough to be considered elite.

    13:20 - you were told that because it was and still is true. He was the real MVP. When Patrick Mahones came out of games and his backup came in, the team still looked fine. When Jalen came out and missed games due to injury, the backup played and the team looked like 💩. Winning 0 games. There's absolutely nothing you can dispute there.

      You're right so if Mahomes wasn't brought up by Alex Smith and didn't fall into a stacked Chiefs team he would be a lower ranked QB right? Yes, Mahomes is a better QB and prospect and YES he finally won with LESS talent... but my point is you can't predict how someone WOULD be with great weapons he can't control.​@@TheLivedeath

    6:07 i wish you had highlights of this amazing jalen hurts in the pocket. i’m an eagles fan and i don’t see jalen with a ton of escapability. it’s one of the only skills i thought Wentz was better at. once jalen is on the move, he’s better. and the web sneak is unreal. but his pocket mobility isn’t great.

    I have home at 4th at this current time. I keep the same energy for other QBs that have accomplished the same things. I’m not a guy that is looking for cute football. I want a QB that can win games!

      We just gonna forget about Jalen hurts against the Bucs twice in the playoffs? And his wins being against Daniel jones and the other when CMC had to play qb. Other than this Green Bay game, At least dak was in the games and they were close in the losses

But I do think dak could’ve done what hurts did in the superbowl because those weapons/oline is that good. Plus hurts played against the 16th rank defense ppg wise, and the 18th ranked passing defense. So with an offensive like that, I expect aloy of QBs to cook a defense that’s below average tbh.

    I want Hurts to play like his brain is a supercomputer - just like Brady and Manning and Brees played. A lot of times I'm watching his game and there are things he doesn't see or recognize at all, or if he does see them, he sees them a half second too late. I value QBs who are great because of the rapidity at which their brains process enormous amounts of information. I value cerebral play far more than I value athleticism, and I want Hurts to become one of the most cerebral QBs in NFL history. That's what would make me happy with him.

      Bruh, what are you talking about? Brees was not special early in his career. Sean Peyton really helped him. Brady was a dink and dunk master of the screen pass. Peyton’s has all-time interception numbers for his first 5 years!!!! 28, 15, 15, 23, and 19!!!! Brady and Manning and Brees all played over 15 years. Let’s see where Hurts is after three or four years with one OC.

      @@Shaz1973 it isn't realistic to think that ANY quarterback will ever again have 3 or 4 years with the same OC. Hurts already has 4 years in the league, 3 of them as a starter. The time for patience is over. Manning was seeing the entire field way better in year 3 than Hurts was seeing it in year 4. You're not being demanding enough.

      Look at the playoff game against Tampa. He completed over 71% of his passes had no turnovers, but the D was just terrible. Btw, AJ Brown didn’t play.

    Why does this guy get a platform who was not a good QB and has been a Hurts hater since he entered the league. Simms sucked as a QB in the NFL. His dad was good and can have a platform. So many things happened with the team not just Hurts. Simms what did you do in the league to be a NFL QB guru and critique when you sucked!?!?!
