neighbor gave me her passat I knew there were some tricks to getting it in and out.. thanks so much m8!
Yes this vídeo save my day, tks to all and thanks God
Great video.
I think it's not necessary to remove the air conditioner belt if you are not going to drive without the alternator. This means that there is no need to jack the car. On gasoline engine without intercooler, it's also not necessary to remove the hose, making work a bit quicker :)
Так как на сомом деле одевать РЕМЕНЬ генератора, так как ви или по схеме, если по схеме то там натягивается по другому
Thank You.
You're welcome
Never under any circumstances jack a VW from the center of the subframe. It will crack and bend.
This video is all fine well and good, but it does not address if the engine is a 1.8, like this one, where the alternator is at the top of the engine, whereas a 2.8 is at the bottom of the engine. If a 2.8 you have to remove the bumper cover, crash cushions and so forth to get the alternator out. Basically take the front end of the car off to change the alternator. You need to get your act in gear here.
You need to correct the video title. You are not replacing brake pads
Wrong title !!!
Thanks for letting us know. We'll get it sorted.
@@HaynesManuals How many hours do you estimate this job to take? Thanks 🙂
