WOW !!!!......... Just an incredible video- thanks so much for sharing this experience with all of us. I am really anxious to see the finished/delivered Perazzi in hopefully- a future video. Well done gentlemen, well done, and thanks.
Thanks Rob 👍🏻
Excellent coverage of crafting work as per the choice of customer for which the perazzi is known for ❤ from India
I watched this journey with great interest. Informative, exciting and how a good result was created with a lot of calm. Enough time to feel, check and feel whether the weapon fits. It makes me want to travel to Italy to have a custom-made weapon made. Appreciation for this interesting report. What I missed was seeing the finished product.
Thanks Arthur, look out for a video featuring the finished gun in future.
Really enjoy these videos, thanks for sharing
Glad you like them, thanks for watching.
Outstanding!
Thank you kindly, Jeff.
My friend...Better is no possible! Amazing...
Thank you :)
The knowledge and skill that Fabrizio has is just flat out mind boggling! It would be really cool to know just how many champions he has fitted.
I will ask him next time I see him, I would say he has probably lost count.
I’ll bet he helped fit Susan Nattress!
Fantastic video from start to the end. Thanks everyone for sharing such an experience.
Spending so much money and time to have such a gun fitted, it's 100% both understandable and respected.
Why people don't you consider an adjustable stock as an additional benefit at the end of the day...? This could have been proven trouble free in the future. Looking forward hearing your comment.
As I have mentioned at the beginning, excellent video and thanks for that!!
Congratulations for the gun and I pretty much sure that this gun will bring lots of smiles on your faces!!
I love the way this gentleman picked his wood with such certainty!
Yeah, Jason very much knew exactly what he wanted.
love this
Thank you :)
Impressive as expected from Perazzi to acheive a bespoke gun.Obviously a milstone in Jason's pursuit of the holy grail.
Very beautiful guns
AMAZING VIDEO
Thanks!
Great job.
Thank you :)
What a great film and very in-depth fitting. All customers get this much time, as that was impressive.
Thank you Graham, your turn next :)
@@BywellShootingGroundTV It may well be !
Brilliant Lloyd, great video
Many thanks James I will pass this on.
I am always telling Perazzi hopefuls back here in Australia that a true fitting is like getting a well made taylored suit. You need to be fitted! You can measureup most shooters which will get you in the ball park but to achieve 100% satisfaction without visiting the factory is impossible! Well done on anthor well enjoyed video!
Thank you sir, glad you enjoyed it.
Great video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Paul.
Well done lads 👍Very interesting and informative. Love my 1967 SC1 and it’s ease of maintenance and replacement of parts though that is yet to happen in my ownership. Thanks for sharing. All the best frae just ower the Border. 🏴 GD
Our pleasure, Thanks for watching Sir.
Well I had said your previous factory tour was the best I had seen, well you've definitely bettered it 🙏
Wow, thanks!
i loved this, someday maybe ill make it
Thanks James.
Great Video 💯💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Brilliant
Thanks Dan.
WOW This gentleman is setting up this gun exactly how I would wont one set up even down to moving the channel on the fore end Absolutely Amazing. All I need now is a lottery win 🤣
We can't help with the lottery ticket but we are here if you do have a win😊
I cant wait
Hope you enjoyed it.
One of the best video. What I'm missing is the finish after the shotgun has been completed and handed over to its new proud owner. Can I still hope for this video?
Best Ever 👍👍
Thank you Paul.
Like a couple choosing bathroom tiles 😂
Great video. I agree with a lot of the choice’s he has made. That slim forend is 👌🏻. Be nice to see what the end product looks like after oiling.
Keep your eyes open for a follow up video and thanks for watching.
Grande Fabrizio 💪
Maestro!
well done
Thank you.
Very interesting
Glad you think so, thanks for watching.
Great film , I have been to perazzi and selected my’ wood etc , worth it $
Thank you, and thanks for watching.
Love the video Perazzi are well made guns
With his long neck he needed a monty ! All the best of course!
Thanks for watching.
excellent video , interesting attitude 1/4 1/4 i agree must try and hit the card fillers and the big targets are a bonus !! surprising what 1/4 and a quality cartridge will break !! 👍👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the show
Thanks for sharing this. It was very informative, and answered my question if you could have a High Tech with an MX-style stock.
Thank you for watching, It was the first time we have been asked for that by a customer and we were very pleased with the result..
I had my Longthorne O/U fitted but I think it is not an exact science. Jason was wearing a thin shirt when the fitting was done. Surely when winter comes and you are wearing thick clothes and a bulky shooting jacket, gun fit will change quite a lot. Hope Jason enjoys his new gun.
As you may have spotted, Jason went for the thicker pad option leaving him the option of switching to a thinner pad for such an eventuality.
After watching this video several times- and always picking up little bits and pieces I missed previously- I was curious as to why it was never mentioned by anyone - why the client shoots with one eye closed. Maybe he has an eye dominance issue ? Would be awesome to see a follow up short video of your client at the clays range- trying out this new beauty. Thanks again for outstanding video- and Merry Christmas to you all. Regards from Missouri, USA.
Totally left eye dominant!
Guys, we need a follow up. We need to see the finished gun, see Jason shoot it, and is he happy with it? I feel like I've missed the end of the movie! 😉
I had teg pleasure to shoot one that was adjusted for me at TITS just north of Toronto .I can't believe how much of a difference the fit makes to improve your shooting .I use a Beretta 301 2 3/4 inch with a 24 inch skeet chokes barrel cut to fit .Awesome but not as good as a Perazzi .
As far as fitting and seeing instantly what might work is their job...as a qualified engineer, is what I can do with my job too..the difference between skill training and not...😊, great video.
Well said, thank you Russel.
Muy elegante arma magnífica para cazar amigos una maravillosa
Gracias :)
I wonder if general public gets the same undivided and micro detailed attention for fitting service like that. I know I didn't. ^^
Perazzi... Italian quality is the best
Fantastic video. When does the lucky chap take delivery?
Congratulations, very good video! At 1:07:05 what did Fabrizio say about the correct grip shape? As he is on his back, it's not possible to see the explanation.
Fellas got a very strange mount, i think they did the right thing for him with sound advise and steered him in the right direction
Very enjoyable watch. Did he take the Very good advice he was given about choke or did he stick with 1/4 -1/4
1/4 1/4 but you might remember he is getting the gun primarily for game and will need to be able to shoot Steel.
@Bywell Shooting Ground I'm still hoping the steel nonsense will go away. But that's politics. Great video well done
There is one big problem with this video, and that is seeing the infinite care taken to get the PERFECT fit it now makes me wonder if my off the peg CG actually fits me like a glove?
I wish I could follow in the footsteps of this gentleman, but ti is what it is. I do not have the money to be so fortunate.
I have to echo most of the comments here- fantastic video, really enjoyed it.
How much dose it cost to have the gun customized like that?
Will we get to see the finished gun?
Cost is individual based on what the Customer chooses, Give us a call to discuss pricing if you like.
Fantastic video. I am considering doing the same process and going to the factory. Is this indicative of what we can all expect or is it a heightened service for the camera and exposure it would give them?
This is reflective of the service we at Bywell give every customer. Lloyd was simply there to film it in a fly on the wall style, apart from the interviews of course :).
So, how did JD like his new wonder wand / magic stick?
Please give us an update :)
Thanks for sharing. Great insights, but…
During the tests I would have worn the clothes that I normally wear when shooting. Clothes can change everything. Moreover tests shouldn’t be just static. It got to be more realistic imho.
is there a follow up to see jason shooting clays ?
As I watch the initial fitting I notice that the shooter closes his left eye as if he is shooting a rifle. I was always taught to look at the target with both eyes open and to shoot where you are looking.
Hi, How did the gun turn out and shoot? Are there any videos of that? Thanks
Coils? Or leaf springs ?? Whats better??
All stock dimensions start with an individual’s body shape, but in my opinion what’s equally important is which discipline that individual is shooting. The Monte Carlo stock originally designed for Trap shooters has gained popularity in other shooting disciplines due to the “head up” position. This gentleman shoots Sporting Clays which offers such a variety of targets ranging from hunting shots, skeet and Trap all in the same afternoon. In my opinion he is picking a drop down stock because it makes the most sense to him. From what I saw in the video the gentleman does not have a great deal of experience. I know that if I were to go and have a gun fitted for me at the Perazzi factory, Kreighoff or Kolar for that matter I would know exactly what works for me. Rough cut a stock, pattern the gun, shoot a few rounds. After that fine tune the stock and repeat the process. Once you have a well fitted stock shooting success comes down to quality practice, grit and determination.
Jason is a highly experienced game shot and PH. He knows how he wanted the gun to fit and feel, and he was an able to create the gun he wanted with our help. Search Fieldsports Ireland for a look at Jason in action.
@@BywellShootingGroundTV Thanks for the search tip; gives me a completely different opinion of Jason.
Why wasn't the fitting done with the customer wearing his shooting jacket ?
The shape of the face. Very difficult to repeat the same check weld each mounting of the gun! No one holds the forearm properly anymore! My opinion of course. Modern Forearms too thin, but we must remember that this is the day of getting less for your money, has become stylish!
Stevie Likes: Next gun a Perazzi........
:) you know where we are.
I purchaxed a used 12 gague marked ithaca perozzi. , HOW MUCH IS PEROZZI , AND WHY IS IT MARKED AS SUCH ??
Need to be mindful that there are two different systems of choke designation between Britain and Italy. British system based on eighths. Italian system base on 10th. So customer asking for 1/4 & 1/4 would be Italian 3 & 3. 4 & 4 would be 3/8 & 3/8th. I know it's personal but, 3/8 & 5/8 be best! I know use is for game and sporting but, Mauro has said that his barrels can be proofed for full chokes and steel 3" cartridges.
Not sure about choke selection for driven game , all my perazzi I have 8 & 8 chokes on my 12 g 20g and 28g
We need to prepare for steel shot here Carl. 1/4 is max for steel.
I hope his obvious master eye issues will be eased with this new stock
Wow. It takes a true Jedi of gunfit to diagnose eye dominance from a YT video. If only the two gentlemen from Bywell and the staff at Perazzi had heard about eye dominance, imagine the improvements they could make. I mean, Perazzi shooters only won 12 of the 15 available medals at the 2012 Olympics. With you on board, it would surely have been a clean sweep. The rest of us can only stand in awe of your genius. After all, it's very common for shooters with no dominance issues to close an eye to double- check alignment when dry mounting indoors. Your next level skill apparently sees that which professionals miss. You are truly a legend in your own lunchtime. Look after that air-rifle.
😂😂😂😂
@@jlight1965 You wasted a lot of time composing and writing that diatribe. I am not bothered at all by your bilious attack. The aggressive nature of your reply to an innocent observation is indeed a surprise. It does reveal though that you are clueless about the the skill of the stock fitter and the well known, tried and trusted methods of the English gun trade over centuries in alleviating master eye issues. If I were as clueless as you are I would probably also hide my identity behind an anonymous @ handle when deciding to go on the attack in an aggressive Keyboard Warrior type of fashion. If only we could meet and you could say to me what you write to me. If only.
@@errisgloshfan Oh, that's so funny. I only wish you could appreciate the hilarity your comment has produced. May I suggest that we put 'diatribe' to one side and you look up the definition of 'irony' as it appears to be lost on you? Don't worry as I will put your aggressive defence, down to a desire to concealing a fundamental deficiency in knowledge of the subject matter. Anyway, enough of the philosophical stuff, let us proceed to practical issues; Firstly, you need to understand that The Ladybird Book Of Gun Fit will only get you so far. It's really not definitive. Secondly, I think I may have you at a disadvantage as I have owned a Perazzi for over twenty years with an eye-dominance issue pre-dating my purchase by many years. Now, I didn't have the benefit of being accompanied to the Factory by the Bywell guys (who I have to say from the video, look to take the experience to an even higher level) but I can assure you that as far as the Factory stock guys go, unlike you (apparently) they may not be able to do it by watching a CZcams video, but within about 2 seconds of initially mounting the try gun they can identify an eye dominance issue. Anyway, I will keep an eye out for you on the various shooting grounds. I'm sure as the only guy carrying a BSA Meteor with a cross-over stock, you'll be easy to spot.
@@JoeLight-ry9xz At least this time you summoned the courage to include me in the reply unlike the last time when you undoubtedly intended that I would not see it. Just so you know I have not read your reply as Keyboard Warriors like you don’t deserve to be read. I don’t need to read it to know it’s more of the same unhinged nonsense. Take your meds, you’ll feel better.
Fitting the gun while wearing a t shirt, could that be a problem when wearing a shooting coat to shoot in?.
Wow, what is the total cost for the finished gun?
Every gun is individual, give us a call to discuss pricing.
THE SHOTGUN WAS PATTERNING HIGH AT FIRST, LIKE 60/40!
AS FAR AS WOOD GOES, I WOULD HAVE PICKED SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL WITH GREAT STUNNING WOOD, HIS WAS TOO PLAIN!!🤷♂️😉👉
Are there No Irish Perazzi dealers , ?
I’d be screaming at him saying just get the monte carlo !
Jason is a highly experienced game shot and PH. He knows how he wanted the gun to fit and feel, and he was a able to create the gun he wanted with our help.
@@BywellShootingGroundTV i never used to see the benifit in monte carlo stocks but as someone who is 6ft 7 i can see it being the best option for talker shooters you just get a much more positive head position with the stock the stock he went for looks very good almost a parallel comb looked to be shooting very high but that’s not a bad thing
And what is the cost of this?
I like the fact they offer this service but it does show you how people overcook the gun and put too much faith in what the gun has to offer their shooting, his mount isn't great at times or consistent, his money his choice but to me a perazzi fitted gun isn't needed for 95% of shooters, especially if they aren't a very methodical shooter who is very calculated in every aspect, some people just like to say i have a bespoke p gun, and shoot no better than an off the shelf gun
Thanks for watching.
I don’t care if his mount is not perfect or perfectly consistent he will hit the right spot more often with a gun that fits correctly than he will with a gun he has to mold himself around. When you are rushed or stressed you will at times forget to press your cheek hard to shoot that high bird that you cant hit any other way. If you can afford a gun that fits correctly and is of stellar quality why not?
@@jimcarter4497 no offence but what you said makes zero sense- gun fit isn't just length/pitch/cast/hight and away you go to the olympics, you need a mount that is consistent before any of that works, a person with a propper consistent mount on a bad fit will always out shoot a good fitting gun on someone who can't mount and swing, sure if you can afford it its your money, but like i said 99% won't actually see much benefit
So your telling me a person will shoot equally well with an ill fitting gun as they do with one that fits properly just because they don’t mount perfectly correct. There are not going to
Mount the ill fitting gun any more correctly or consistently than they do the properly fitted gun. Will he realize the full benefit no.
@@jimcarter4497 i said a person who can mount and swing very consistently will outshoot a person who can't with a good fit- re read it! A body is malleable, you can adjust a bad fit within reason with cheek pressure, shoulder position etc, so yes 100% - do you think most sxs fit people well??? I know plenty of top tier shooters who will shoot 80 plus percent on a sxs
Great video. Why does this guy close one eye when mounting the gun?…rifle shooter?
Left eye dominant
What would a gun like this cost ?
Give us a call to discuss pricing.
One day…….
Glad you enjoyed it David.
had my gti done yrs ago ,but nothing like this!!!these guns probably cost as much as a house!!
Thanks for watching.
The big issue i have is that you do all of this for a shotgun that cost you 10k but never get to take it home.
The Monte Carlo stock would have been a better choice for him rather than what he was “familiar” with which may not have been ideal for him.
Jason is a highly experienced game shot and PH. He knows how he wanted the gun to fit and feel, and he was a able to create the gun he wanted with our help.
@@BywellShootingGroundTV Glad to hear that. My only point was that it appeared from watching the video that he was adjusting his mount/cheek pressure to get the desired pattern. That said, if he’s happy that’s all that matters and I wish him the best with his new Perazzi.
I think he'd shoot better with my Baikal IJ-58 and I'm willing to do a straight swap for the Perazzi.
I'll pass that on to Jason for you...
🇪🇨🇪🇨👍
Thanks for watching
Where is the finnish gun ? .Krieghoff for me ajustable .
Well, absolutely no needed service in this case :)
But good example what they could offer….
