    Ever been put on the spot for a bass solo that you weren't ready for? Here is a simple exercise to try out to help build confidence in approaching soloing, along with a few other tips. This is the 1-note solo, which helps alleviate fear of picking "the wrong note", allows you to focus on articulation, rhythm, breathing, and listening to how a single note harmonizes--or doesn't!--with the chord.

    Your bass soloing method was helpful. Wondering if it isn't a bit like improvisation? But, aren't all musical solos? I noticed your desert audience! Terms of En"deer"ment for sure.😊
