I love my Nuka Cola T-51! It also matches the life-size T-51 helmet I bought years ago. Favorite design. I'll just have to live with any weakness in it.

For anyone who is trying to get the Excavator Armor, that sign could possibly be bugged and trying to click on it wont do anything. If it is bugged, you can go into the mining headquarters just behind the sign. Go down the escalator and enter the Metal Doors behind the desk. There should be a terminal at the bottom of the stairs in that room you entered and you can start the quest there too.
I had the same issue till I eventually went to Reddit and someone had that solution and it worked wonders. I literally thought my whole game was bugging out and was ready to uninstall then reinstall so glad I didn't and just did some research 😂

The problem with T-65 is an issue with the diminishing returns of high damage resistance in 76, at a certain point damage resistance is only reducing damage taken by 1 or 2 points max. You’ll actually take considerably less damage in Union or hellcat the majority of the time purely because hellcat has built in damage mitigation (better than damage resistance), and Union offers additional resistance to a common DOT elemental damage type (poison) that natively T-65 doesn’t have. Union also has that sweet carry weight bonus to boot, I’d honestly say Union is by far the best power armor in the game, with hellcat being a noteworthy second and all other PA’s being tiered based on their slightly higher/lower DR That being said I roll around in strangler heart, it’s a great looking suit of armor and a major flex especially with the extremely rare calibrated shocks. Might not be the best, but it was definitely the biggest grind.
Great points, but T-65 damage resistance is so high it's better than the 12% hellcat gives AND it has better energy resistance. Not that it matters, the built-in 42% damage resistance paired with overeater and dodgy will make you invincible in pretty much any set of PA, but still worth pointing out to avoid confusion
Just in case anyone has the glitch with the excavator power armor, there’s a terminal just south of the entrance of the headquarters. Like 30 feet in front of you to the right, if you access it one of the terminals options will start the quest.

Overeaters is extremely powerful on any power armor. From Raider to T-65. My personal preference is Union. I love the poison resistance. The poison resistance is extremely helpful for Daily Ops and Moonlight Jamboree.
Keep visiting event spots like SBQ and Eviction Notice. Because of the Union PA glitch you get to pick up pieces once the corpses despawn. My son has a full set and doesn't know the plans by doing that.
@@r_ku4645When the corpses despawn, the loot lays loose on the ground and can be grabbed by everyone, also loot which wouldnt drop for you personally because of not knowing the plans. The union pieces cannot be looted while beeing 'in corpses', but after their despawn they can be grabbed from the ground. Most players will not go back to get their union pa parts, so it free for all.
As a power armor main, I agree with everything you say in this video. My unpopular opinion is that T65 looks like white bread and playdoe strapped to a chassis. 😂
I’m still a beginner so I’ve only been using the Excavator largely for the carry weight. Probably could’ve had a full t-45, raider & ultracite set but it all being exchanged for scrip. Also I appreciate you not talking about story spoilers even when the games over 5 years old.
I bought one of those out of a player's vending machine for 20,000 caps. Then, about a year later, I accidentally scripted it when a PA bug took all the PA pieces off my chassis and placed the pieces into my inventory. Wasn't too happy about it when I later found out that I had done that.
X-01 Was I think the first Power Armor I went for a soon as I found out about the quest. The others I just found randomly in the wasteland. LOVE that power armor!

I'm a new player and I'm currently running an ultracite power armour cause I got the plan at a player vendor for cheap and I constantly loot legendary for it but it seems too costly to maintain + the calibrated shocks are way to hard to get and I was thinking about switching to the Hellcat PA cause I just got one for free after the BOS quest line but I was hesitant cause the plans for the mods cost gold bulion but thanks to your video and the Fallout wiki i know that X01 is a pretty decent and affordable option with all the plans for the mods buyable for caps, and it'll be a great option before I can get my hands on a T-65 so thanks a lot, your video came just on time !
I love Hellcat, I have electric absorption and whats rads so the armor piercing ballistic stuff is the only real issue which it helps with. Poison doesnt bother me as I'm full health so have plenty of time to pop stimpacks. If I were a bloody build I'd go with Union just for that cushion against poison when it does happen, and the extra carry weight is ALWAYS nice no matter what really.
Something I don't think is mentioned in this video is the soft cap for Damage Resistance (around ~300). **Every** power armor set is going to hit this soft cap, meaning the bulk of your damage resistance is already met (on top of the innate 42% damage reduction given by all PA as well) and anything beyond that has some diminishing returns. This means Raider PA can be just as viable as T-65 PA in most end game events, especially considering whether you're playing with teams and in a public lobby where damage is a lot more spread out. This is also why Hellcat is comparable to T-65, since **Damage REDUCTION** is calculated separately from Damage RESISTANCE, and that 12% total Ballistic damage reduction greatly makes up for the slightly lower DR. If you're expecting to tank world bosses and a swarm of Deathclaws, then it's fine to min/max your stats with armor like the T-65 set, because at least that 765 DR is significant enough of a difference from 300 DR. But even then, you can supplement your favorite style of PA with things like Medic Pump + Field Surgeon/First Aid, or Vampire heavy weapons and do just as good a job as tanking.
Best one is Union power armor. It has extra carry capacity and poison resist which effectively saves a legendary perk. Only downside is that its bugged since a few patches and you can't craft a new one ... so be carful when scrapping so you don't accidently scrap your Union power armor helmet. edit: oh cool, wasn't aware that you can just ignore the "missing" plan and craft it with the unlockable toggle
Dude this is amazing, I've got 5 chassis waiting in my stash, more like taking up 50 weight. I was looking for displays and extra power armors and I had no idea how many were pretty well free. Materials are basically just time spending, and that's pretty much free
My favorite armor is the one gifted to my husband, son and myself. We were playing on Christmas Eve and another player joined our team asked us to follow them and they built all three of us T-45 Assassin's build with jet packs and carry weight boosts. It's seems to take forever before we have any damage wear indicating on it. Yes all three armors are the build, legendary features too. Not sure who our fairy gamemother was that night, but again much love and thanks to you. We're still rocking the armor, just gave it some some fresh paint.
I agree about the X01 I ROCK that with regen, auto stim and over eaters. It works better than my old hell cat and it looks almost as cool as hellcat. I'm also in drop zones all the ti.e so it helps with that
Best power armor in the game is union due to the extra 75 carry weight and 150 poison damage resistance. Every single power armor in the game has 7% damage reduction per piece so the difference between power armors is minimal. So use any power armor you want as long as it has the over eaters legendary effect. It’s the best effect for being tanky.
@@teipkep it doesn’t really matter. I’m level 900 and believe me when I tell you that the Dr and energy Dr mean nothing in game. It’s ALL about damage reduction. I can literally run a t45 with over eaters and never die. And only heal from food or vampires weapon.
@@sweetgee9589 over eaters gets dimishing returns due to the dmg reduction in power armor passively. I know it doesnt matter, just wanted to state it. Nothing matters. I been watching tons of guides for this game, nothing matters. They all slap on some cards, go to west tek and like "look, guide, many build, so endgame".
Love your videos! Beginner (started last month after playing it for a couple of days at original launch). Question: I have the hellcat plans, but haven't crafted/used a power armor yet. If I understand correctly, I should be putting the unyielding mods on it apart from the chest mod?
I’ve got 1k hours in 76 and most of my time in PA (which was allot of time) was in excavator. There are better sets for resistance for sure but with the right build you can do any content in the game with that armor, it’s good. For a change of pace I now use hellcat with 20% weapon weight reduction on the pieces so it helps with not having bonus carry weight itself, it’s good armor too and I like the design. When they fix union though, I’m gonna spend the stamps I’ve been saving and get it
Hey just letting any new players know that the excavator quest does have a bug. If the quest doesnt advance when you look at the excavator poster like it should. Go to the garahan mining headquarters and go to the reciption terminal and itll advance. I had to start a new playthrough on pc because my old account was xbox and when i tried it wouldnt advance when i looked at the poster. Just letting y'all know.
So happy to see this video as I just finished saving up 10K Bullion with the intention of getting all the mods I wanted for my Hellcat, but because the price of mods for it are so expensive the Hellcat with Targeting HUD, Emergency Protocols, Optimised Bracers and Calibrated shocks is 8200 Bullion. Buying the same mods and all the T-65 Armor Pieces plans is 8500 so just 300 Bullion difference for the same set-up. So as they cost about the same modded up is T-65 the better armour and a better way to spend the bullion?
i think the choice between Union and 65 sets comes down to whether or not you want to go through the absolutely *abhorent* grind for stamps to use the Union set
Don't forget that the strangler heart armor uses ultracite mods. You will need to know the rare plan (dropped ONCE for me in 5 years) for calibrated shocks. The SH is no trade so.
I personally don't really use power armor but I keep the excavator one on me just in case I need to fast travel but I'm encumbered. It's super helpful if I've been farming a lot of resources and I don't think I've ever gone past the carry limit with it on.
honestly i think once you ahve a full set of overeaters on you gear it doesnt really matter which set you use. BUT currently there is a bug with the Excavator PA quest, some players will find that they are unable to interact with the sign to start the quest. you can jsut skip that part and go to the step right after, using a terminal at a reception desk inside the Atrium.
I got the full set of union power armor by just running expeditions. And I was running those just to get XP. This includes being able to craft power armor pieces. In any case it’s the best power armor for me and my other one is a T65 too.
I use x 01 power armor because of the paint I bought like 5 years ago. I think it’s called black bird but it’s so cool with the red lamp and the jetpack
I already had most of the Union when that update nixed me getting the complete set. I am only missing the helmet, but it keeps me from getting the set bonus. Can't wait for this to be fixed.
Great video! Do you have a video that is got “mid game”? For example, I am level 85 and have started a commando build and have got a full set of armor that’s legendary 3 star with OK mods. I’m trying to find something that is a guideline for how to proceed, what to spend perk cards on, etc.

The Excavator is just because I want that carry weight and its definitely the BEST "starter" power armor for one to get. Do wish that there's some "free skins" for the Raider Power Armor since it looks really aesthetically great as part of the Fallout universe. But for my favorite power armor would be the Excavator and Raider power armor.
Wow, and here I thought that the ultracite PA was the best. I've been using it alot and its been serving me well so far. I might go for the union armor once it is fixed.
If I press left trigger as fast as I pull the right trigger while shooting the gatling, you can shoot at 3x the speed cause it's makes your character crank the wheel faster, just mash them. With my vampire gatling that does 20% bullet explosion damage and a low health build, and X-01 armor, the only thing that kills me are things that can 1 hit ko me. The trigger thing aslo works for the plasma caster just saying. Js
For excavator the bonus ore is from the arms, but the carry weight requires the full set, if memory serves. I know for a while I was running the arms on the empty chassis while I mined ore to build the rest of it, back in the day. As for the rest, the only set I keep with me constantly IS that excevator, unless it's faschnacht, in which case it's t-45 to go with the old man winter PA helm. I'm going to toss together a set of union, when I finally can, for two purposes...one, I have more than half a set as drops that have ended up in my inventory, and I'm mad as hell that all this time later I've lost a thousand plus scrip to this goddamn bug... and two, while funky duds is great and all, being able to toss on a set of PA for a given daily op that requires it will be a LOT fewer burned perk points.
Best overall imo would be Union. Overeaters with electric adoration handles everything you need, saves you from needing funky duds and gives you 75lbs bonus carry weight. Bet for tankyness easily hellcat imo. Best noobtrap? T65.
Go for union, save your stamps till the next update so when it drops you can buy the plans and craft it. New players don't know how easy they have it; We had to grind union dues to farm for stamps now the sensational game expedition can be done in 5-8 min plus you get scrip on top of it
I rock the Excavator in most cases for the extra carry weight. I'll use T65 when a jetpack is useful in an event. TBH the power armors are so tanky the differences in damage resistance is minor. I've gone against groups of Super Mutants at Eviction Notice with Excavator equipped and rarely die if I watch my health.
@@torsteinnorbertson All I've read is it's now legacy and possibly even patched out. As it stands the use case is not vital anyways. I carry both armors and can readily switch between the two at will.
I've been using the Excavator for now, got it all beefed up, got the Hellcat but the jetpack and mods etc are so dang pricey, after watching there I'm torn between the T65 and Hellcat though since I can't get Union right now. It's just hard to beat that 100 bonus weight plus mining extra. It's the missing jetpack I wonder about if it's needed with excavator but I have Marsupial and looking for Birdbones and after that a Jetpack is kinda not needed lol
The damage mitigation is not that much of a difference between all if them, it is really a matter of one or 2 stimpaks the difference. The real goal is carry weight. What I strongly recommend is a combo, excavator power armor with weapons weight reduction, legendary prefix and Union power armor with overeaters legendary prefix. One for bosses and the other for a mule.
I don't use VATS or power armor. I carry some with me in case I have to jump off of cliffs or need to beat a large enemy by myself. The Raider Armor does look cool though.
I've always liked the X-01 with it's overall good all-rounder stats plus in my own opinion the X-01 looks the best out of any other power armor when painted with most paint schemes
Kinda sad, that x01 mediocre, its so iconic, that i got into fallout because of it. But, thanks to still being power armor with passive resistance, i can walk in it even at level 120, and scream at my friend, that he lost an expensive piece of army-issue equipment, whenever he walks without it. But, for cases when i need to carry a lot of stuff, i have additional excavator with mods on plus carry weight in my inventory.
I did see union PA plans come back since the last update but I still cant craft most of what I own already. Got an alien jetpack skin on and I really want to put on the devils wings from the season thing, but since the game doesn't think i own the jetpack plan anymore im kinda sol.
So something to note at 3:49 For the excavator power armor does work with the ultracite ore as well you said that it doesn’t but it does I’m an expert on power armor I use it 24/7 and use excavator armor constantly in the mines so for anyone who uses it yes it does work for ultracite ore as well your game might be bugged depending on what kind of things you have going on
Should be after Belly of the Beast. You probably already got Taggerdy id before, just like I did. Otherwise you can't access her computer to finish and get the plan. Infact I already got the plan just by join SBQ event
A big warning for those making Strangler Heart, make sure you have Power Smith equipped to save 3 vault steel on each piece as it requires 30 per piece. And with Power Smith it'll cost 27 instead, save yourself some stress with legendary scrip
hi mr westtek i was the one who told you about the union but afterwards i went back and tried to craft it but you cant craft it it will show its there but when you try to craft it it uses your recourses but do not give you the item so dont create it you will lose junk but it you want to test it for your self i suggests doing it in a custom
I use the excavator but man I wish there were more skins to mimic the other suits. I love the look of the t 60 but only if there was a skin that like a modded t 60 like that modded t 45
So T-65 when you get the buillion then Union-Ultracite as far as power scaling goes, I personally just finished a full 3 star legendary t-60 when the show came out I was rocking in honor of it =) Just switched back to my X0-1 which has been a personal favorite, though I dropped a lot of caps a way back to unlock and craft tesla coils for it and was BUMMED to find out after doing so that it didnt change the visual appearance of my armor! Really wish they would add that cosmetic change to the armors that actually use Tesla coils seeing as how theyre pretty useless in game lol
I’m currently using the BOS armor with carry weight added and every power armor I’ve found so far makes me over encumbered immediately 😂. I think I need that union armor bc I got a lot of junk in my trunk always
Just an FYI for newer players you can save a lot of gold bullion by waiting to see what weekly vender Minerva is selling armour wise. Otherwise very informative video.
Yo mr west tek this is a different subject but I screwed up with my first chunk of bullion after the quest and got the plasma caster and as under armor shielded king as well but should I get cryo freezer next or ss chest armor
I'm using Strangler Heart currently but after this video, I might try the T65 out while I wait for Union to come back. I wonder if the weapon poison damage thing even works lol (on the strangler set)

Raider t 45 and the excavator are just absismal in base stats that even with overeaters you'll get tore apart. But that just my opinion

This means Raider PA can be just as viable as T-65 PA in most end game events, especially considering whether you're playing with teams and in a public lobby where damage is a lot more spread out. This is also why Hellcat is comparable to T-65, since **Damage REDUCTION** is calculated separately from Damage RESISTANCE, and that 12% total Ballistic damage reduction greatly makes up for the slightly lower DR.
If you're expecting to tank world bosses and a swarm of Deathclaws, then it's fine to min/max your stats with armor like the T-65 set, because at least that 765 DR is significant enough of a difference from 300 DR. But even then, you can supplement your favorite style of PA with things like Medic Pump + Field Surgeon/First Aid, or Vampire heavy weapons and do just as good a job as tanking.

Best one is Union power armor. It has extra carry capacity and poison resist which effectively saves a legendary perk. Only downside is that its bugged since a few patches and you can't craft a new one ... so be carful when scrapping so you don't accidently scrap your Union power armor helmet.
edit: oh cool, wasn't aware that you can just ignore the "missing" plan and craft it with the unlockable toggle

Dude this is amazing, I've got 5 chassis waiting in my stash, more like taking up 50 weight. I was looking for displays and extra power armors and I had no idea how many were pretty well free. Materials are basically just time spending, and that's pretty much free
My favorite armor is the one gifted to my husband, son and myself. We were playing on Christmas Eve and another player joined our team asked us to follow them and they built all three of us T-45 Assassin's build with jet packs and carry weight boosts. It's seems to take forever before we have any damage wear indicating on it. Yes all three armors are the build, legendary features too. Not sure who our fairy gamemother was that night, but again much love and thanks to you. We're still rocking the armor, just gave it some some fresh paint.
I agree about the X01 I ROCK that with regen, auto stim and over eaters. It works better than my old hell cat and it looks almost as cool as hellcat. I'm also in drop zones all the ti.e so it helps with that
Best power armor in the game is union due to the extra 75 carry weight and 150 poison damage resistance. Every single power armor in the game has 7% damage reduction per piece so the difference between power armors is minimal. So use any power armor you want as long as it has the over eaters legendary effect. It’s the best effect for being tanky.
It's the best because overall it gives the best quality of life.
union still has low radiation and energy resistance, to have that in mind.
@@teipkep it doesn’t really matter. I’m level 900 and believe me when I tell you that the Dr and energy Dr mean nothing in game. It’s ALL about damage reduction. I can literally run a t45 with over eaters and never die. And only heal from food or vampires weapon.
@@sweetgee9589 over eaters gets dimishing returns due to the dmg reduction in power armor passively. I know it doesnt matter, just wanted to state it. Nothing matters. I been watching tons of guides for this game, nothing matters. They all slap on some cards, go to west tek and like "look, guide, many build, so endgame".

I’ve got 1k hours in 76 and most of my time in PA (which was allot of time) was in excavator. There are better sets for resistance for sure but with the right build you can do any content in the game with that armor, it’s good.
For a change of pace I now use hellcat with 20% weapon weight reduction on the pieces so it helps with not having bonus carry weight itself, it’s good armor too and I like the design.
When they fix union though, I’m gonna spend the stamps I’ve been saving and get it

Hey just letting any new players know that the excavator quest does have a bug. If the quest doesnt advance when you look at the excavator poster like it should. Go to the garahan mining headquarters and go to the reciption terminal and itll advance. I had to start a new playthrough on pc because my old account was xbox and when i tried it wouldnt advance when i looked at the poster. Just letting y'all know.

So happy to see this video as I just finished saving up 10K Bullion with the intention of getting all the mods I wanted for my Hellcat, but because the price of mods for it are so expensive the Hellcat with Targeting HUD, Emergency Protocols, Optimised Bracers and Calibrated shocks is 8200 Bullion. Buying the same mods and all the T-65 Armor Pieces plans is 8500 so just 300 Bullion difference for the same set-up. So as they cost about the same modded up is T-65 the better armour and a better way to spend the bullion?
i think the choice between Union and 65 sets comes down to whether or not you want to go through the absolutely *abhorent* grind for stamps to use the Union set

Don't forget that the strangler heart armor uses ultracite mods. You will need to know the rare plan (dropped ONCE for me in 5 years) for calibrated shocks. The SH is no trade so.
I personally don't really use power armor but I keep the excavator one on me just in case I need to fast travel but I'm encumbered. It's super helpful if I've been farming a lot of resources and I don't think I've ever gone past the carry limit with it on.

Pretty much just use the excavator due to the weight buff. I plan on moving to the union at some point but need to get the calibrated legs first.
honestly i think once you ahve a full set of overeaters on you gear it doesnt really matter which set you use. BUT currently there is a bug with the Excavator PA quest, some players will find that they are unable to interact with the sign to start the quest. you can jsut skip that part and go to the step right after, using a terminal at a reception desk inside the Atrium.
I got the full set of union power armor by just running expeditions. And I was running those just to get XP. This includes being able to craft power armor pieces. In any case it’s the best power armor for me and my other one is a T65 too.
I use x 01 power armor because of the paint I bought like 5 years ago. I think it’s called black bird but it’s so cool with the red lamp and the jetpack

I already had most of the Union when that update nixed me getting the complete set. I am only missing the helmet, but it keeps me from getting the set bonus. Can't wait for this to be fixed.

If you have the plan, go to the power armor workbench. Toggle buildable/non buildable. Craft your helmet. Job's done.
Great video! Do you have a video that is got “mid game”? For example, I am level 85 and have started a commando build and have got a full set of armor that’s legendary 3 star with OK mods. I’m trying to find something that is a guideline for how to proceed, what to spend perk cards on, etc.

The Excavator is just because I want that carry weight and its definitely the BEST "starter" power armor for one to get.
Do wish that there's some "free skins" for the Raider Power Armor since it looks really aesthetically great as part of the Fallout universe.
But for my favorite power armor would be the Excavator and Raider power armor.
I like the Ultracite Armor. Looks cool to me and it feels at least like Mid-Game armor if it’s not endgame armor.

Wow, and here I thought that the ultracite PA was the best. I've been using it alot and its been serving me well so far. I might go for the union armor once it is fixed.
Even if you cant get union you can get the mod plans before the update releases so you already have everything ready.
If I press left trigger as fast as I pull the right trigger while shooting the gatling, you can shoot at 3x the speed cause it's makes your character crank the wheel faster, just mash them. With my vampire gatling that does 20% bullet explosion damage and a low health build, and X-01 armor, the only thing that kills me are things that can 1 hit ko me.
The trigger thing aslo works for the plasma caster just saying. Js
For excavator the bonus ore is from the arms, but the carry weight requires the full set, if memory serves. I know for a while I was running the arms on the empty chassis while I mined ore to build the rest of it, back in the day.
As for the rest, the only set I keep with me constantly IS that excevator, unless it's faschnacht, in which case it's t-45 to go with the old man winter PA helm. I'm going to toss together a set of union, when I finally can, for two purposes...one, I have more than half a set as drops that have ended up in my inventory, and I'm mad as hell that all this time later I've lost a thousand plus scrip to this goddamn bug... and two, while funky duds is great and all, being able to toss on a set of PA for a given daily op that requires it will be a LOT fewer burned perk points.
The best PA is T65, best stats across the board. Worth the grind.
Should do a video on how to get some of the mod plans for all the power armors. I remember when i started....forever ago.... i had trouble with that.
Best overall imo would be Union. Overeaters with electric adoration handles everything you need, saves you from needing funky duds and gives you 75lbs bonus carry weight.

Go for union, save your stamps till the next update so when it drops you can buy the plans and craft it. New players don't know how easy they have it; We had to grind union dues to farm for stamps now the sensational game expedition can be done in 5-8 min plus you get scrip on top of it
I rock the Excavator in most cases for the extra carry weight. I'll use T65 when a jetpack is useful in an event. TBH the power armors are so tanky the differences in damage resistance is minor. I've gone against groups of Super Mutants at Eviction Notice with Excavator equipped and rarely die if I watch my health.

I've been using the Excavator for now, got it all beefed up, got the Hellcat but the jetpack and mods etc are so dang pricey, after watching there I'm torn between the T65 and Hellcat though since I can't get Union right now. It's just hard to beat that 100 bonus weight plus mining extra. It's the missing jetpack I wonder about if it's needed with excavator but I have Marsupial and looking for Birdbones and after that a Jetpack is kinda not needed lol
The damage mitigation is not that much of a difference between all if them, it is really a matter of one or 2 stimpaks the difference. The real goal is carry weight. What I strongly recommend is a combo, excavator power armor with weapons weight reduction, legendary prefix and Union power armor with overeaters legendary prefix. One for bosses and the other for a mule.

I don't use VATS or power armor. I carry some with me in case I have to jump off of cliffs or need to beat a large enemy by myself. The Raider Armor does look cool though.
I've always liked the X-01 with it's overall good all-rounder stats plus in my own opinion the X-01 looks the best out of any other power armor when painted with most paint schemes
Kinda sad, that x01 mediocre, its so iconic, that i got into fallout because of it. But, thanks to still being power armor with passive resistance, i can walk in it even at level 120, and scream at my friend, that he lost an expensive piece of army-issue equipment, whenever he walks without it. But, for cases when i need to carry a lot of stuff, i have additional excavator with mods on plus carry weight in my inventory.
I love the Hellcat PA, it just sucks that most universal skins don't work with it

I would say Ultracite set with a legacy Jetpack arm with emergency protocol torso with all pieces weapon reduction.
I got a full over eater sentinel with a jetpack on the helmet someone dropped me awhile back
Forgot and Calibrated Shock legs . Which that plan needs an adjustment to drop rate for sure.

I did see union PA plans come back since the last update but I still cant craft most of what I own already. Got an alien jetpack skin on and I really want to put on the devils wings from the season thing, but since the game doesn't think i own the jetpack plan anymore im kinda sol.

For the excavator power armor does work with the ultracite ore as well you said that it doesn’t but it does I’m an expert on power armor I use it 24/7 and use excavator armor constantly in the mines so for anyone who uses it yes it does work for ultracite ore as well your game might be bugged depending on what kind of things you have going on
Helpful little tip, if you do the DMV quest quest you unlock a full set of Ultracite power armor.

A big warning for those making Strangler Heart, make sure you have Power Smith equipped to save 3 vault steel on each piece as it requires 30 per piece. And with Power Smith it'll cost 27 instead, save yourself some stress with legendary scrip

hi mr westtek i was the one who told you about the union but afterwards i went back and tried to craft it but you cant craft it it will show its there but when you try to craft it it uses your recourses but do not give you the item so dont create it you will lose junk but it you want to test it for your self i suggests doing it in a custom

I use the excavator but man I wish there were more skins to mimic the other suits. I love the look of the t 60 but only if there was a skin that like a modded t 60 like that modded t 45
So T-65 when you get the buillion then Union-Ultracite as far as power scaling goes, I personally just finished a full 3 star legendary t-60 when the show came out I was rocking in honor of it =) Just switched back to my X0-1 which has been a personal favorite, though I dropped a lot of caps a way back to unlock and craft tesla coils for it and was BUMMED to find out after doing so that it didnt change the visual appearance of my armor! Really wish they would add that cosmetic change to the armors that actually use Tesla coils seeing as how theyre pretty useless in game lol

I run T 60 when I use power armor because of the elder paint and I only use it for showcase or trade
Im a loot goblin so i been using the excavator the most all i can say is survivability and durability with it is pretty good,
Even if you have the plans you can't craft it atm, they have basically locked it.
