Mam,agar wafer paper cutout ko side walla pe lagana ho to kya usko b fondant pe lagana chahiye,cake zyada doooor travel hoga to wafer paper and fondant cake pe soggy to nahi hoga?

Hi is there a need to apply gel on edible photo print. Once I had placed it on fondant n the color faded.
