My hope is that when my wife and I finally buy our forever home (currently in a starter townhome) we can find one with a basement. Either finished or not, it can become my hobby space, her craft space, and a space for gaming. It's the one thing I've put on the list of requirements for myself :)

I love seeing how people set up their spaces! Gives an insight to how they workflow, what they find important, and how much stuff they store! I've been working on my studio for about a month, and I still have a few pieces of furniture missing. Hope the studio is working well for you!
Quick tip: run a line of painters tape down before you use that 3m double sided nightmare on your walls. Much easier to remove!

Wonderful video! I'm always happy to see how artists set up their studios and this video gave me some nice ideas of how to set up my space for watercolors, gaming, and starting to get into miniature painting.
(Being out in the Southern California Mojave Desert I'm sensitive to the "middle of nowhere" so my first impression on seeing the title of this video, "...in the middle of nowhere", was you working at a table somewhere out on the open Canadian prairie - thankfully your new space is so much nicer than that! 😁)

What type of cabinet/desks did you get? I like the ease of configuration.
Yeah I have the same question. Quite an ingenious way to allow multiple configurations
"All desks used in my studio are built using IKEA BESTA Cabinets, and IKEA Laminate Countertops laid on top " Well that answers that :)

We move it in there when he wants it! Still in the process of getting a dedicated one for the room!
Lovely set up Dana, you’ll need a bigger spray booth for the terrain haha one downside I admit!
HAHA yes that's true!!! I plan to do the majority of the work with spray cans out in the garage or basement I think, and then the details with the airbrush? I head MDF takes spray cans better than airbrush?
