Exec 2: Na, give them Randomonium again, we've had that 5 times already, people love it!
I'm often reminded of a rather infamous Blizzard quote, "You think you want that, but you don't."
Two things.
1: There was an unofficial vanilla server with something like 150k accounts that ran for a good while. So there is a market for this and enough of a consistent demand to justify it existing.
2: If that was explained as you said it, it probably would have been taken a lot better. But it wasn't. The quote I gave is all that was said on the matter. Let's be honest here, that's kind of a dick way of putting things. Sometimes being a top figure in a company means you need to talk about *why* some decisions are made, not just say "we know better". It can be an annoying part of the job, but it comes with the territory.
randomonium sounds a lot like nostalrius
I look at it from both sides, and I can understand where Blizzard is coming from, sure. Doesn't mean I won't make fun of that quote every chance I can get. Explain things in detail, I might still disagree, but will respect it. Patronize and dismiss, I will jab at every turn.
Chess would get old REAL quick tho.

As I am in the UTC+12 timezone, waking up at 8am every day solely to watch these videos is not fun. I too watch The Almighty Kripp for entertainment and education, but I do also have a life, so I just watch him when I have the time and feel like it. In addition, I feel like links to specific clips will be more useful for returning viewers, rather than if you are watching it for the first time.
I do strive to perform my duty within 24 hours, and even though I may be a late Kripperino, I am I Kripperino nonetheless.

Hearthstone is dying. Interest is so low right now, it's just not that fun anymore. Peak RNG reached, no new archetypes, just the same old same old. And Arena is more unbalanced than ever.

I played hearstone a long time, spend over 500 euro,s (don't ask me why) but i like wanky decks created by myself and i dont do net decking, every game i play on ladder is a net decking fucker that plays dragon warriorr, face shaman or zoo. i have enough of that bullshit, so i tried elder scrolls and i can tell you the game is awesome. I got lots of legendaries without spending money and the game punish the player who go all out face. Thats a game for me. Sorry for my bad english but im from holland. greetz

Randomonium is in my opinion the perfect example of a brawl that is mechanically balanced but not logically balanced. I like it because if your hand is clogged, you get more rolls which means you have a higher chance of laying down your hand - in fact, I would say it's one of the only brawls where I feel having the coin might balance it slightly too far in player 2's favor, since cards can naturally carry tons of value on their own. High cost cards are great in this brawl, but you have the luxury of relying on early game cards if you don't want to risk rolling lower costs. On the other hand, I feel that this brawl is TOO RANDOM. I mean I know it's called Randomonium, but I feel that there should be some rhyme or reason to it. The other day I considered, perhaps the rule should be, "At the start of your turn, reduce the cost of a card in your hand by 1 for each card in your hand."
Separate lines or no cutting in the video without a ticket, please!

Once, during this brawl, I was facing a priest. He got nexus champion. He got shadowform. Nexus champ died. He got TWO ONYX BISHOPS ON THE BOARD, MAKING TWO MORE NEXUS CHAMPS, then got herald volazj. TWO MOOOORE. He then used poison seeds and I won.
Kripp actually looks "prettty gooood" for once... lol xD

I usually don't like RNG bs, but I would take this over some brawls, like webspinners or crossroads, because at if you are going to make a brawl that is RNG-based, at least make it total RNG,
Obviously their statistics show that this brawl is played a ton when it's available. That the "hardcore" players may not like the RNG as much matters little to them.
People don't seem to get that blizzard isn't catering to you, the tiny vocal minority. When they say most players they mean the millions of people who have next to no cards and are unaware of the meta. This would be a great brawl for them because A. they have no cards and B. They probably weren't around when it last was released. It's just smart on blizzards part to do it this way.

Legit telling the truth, I never play brawls, I will play a brawl max 3 times, and mostly just once for the pack.....this brawl is the only one I have truly spammed the shit out of, it's too fun. I'm at 30 wins now.
i love brawls where my opponent gets 1 mana legendarys, turn 2 paladin has out 3 ragnaros the lightlord's. Must pray to RNGesus harder.

I got Yogg, Dr. Boom and Varian in my opening hand. Coudnt play them in early, so in turn 5 they cost 1 mana, but i had 1 hp. I won, praise yogg + Varian into 2 taunts + 2 4dmg bombs.
Blizzard devs have really lost their touch recently after the purify fiasco and the underwhelming karazhan adventure they now are slacking off with the tavern brawls too.
They really need to start listening to the community if they want their game to have longevity.
I'm pretty sure that most players actually prefer brawls with random cards. The ppl who have all the cards needed to make good decks for "make your own deck" brawls are actually a minority.
+Happy Ska thets true but it doesnt have to be a random brawl... It could be premade like naf vs rag, or chess for eg.

The concept of these Randomonium brawls has always been nice, but in practice I've always found that they are extremely one-sided. One guy has RNGeesus on their side for almost every card they draw, while the other one is left with just crap in their deck and hands. Every brawl I won was me getting good discounts, flooding the board with good quality minions and my opponent essentially left with no board for the entire duel. And every match I lost, the situation was reversed. It's just not fun for anyone at that point.
Have they changed how this one works? Summoning stone doesnt go off original mana costs of spells now? And that 4 6 minion that draws a 10 cost minion at the start of the turn just draws any card anyway?

Simple brawl - you keep 1-2 high value minions, wait for big discount of mana, reckt opponent who try to perform "normal" early game. I guess my best start was dr boom in first turn(after coin, but hey)

I had some serious bad brawl luck this week, too. Tried switching heroes, didn't help much. My opponents were dropping amazing legendaries and bad ass things before turn 2. I'm all like "here is a Tinyfin, take that! Mwahaha!"

This is also pretty random, but today I played about 6 games with Druid, and won 5.
Personaly I like this brawl since I can do all my quests that pile up ladder just doesn't do it for me since my own decks underperform.
After having 6 consecutive horrible brawls myself and seeing this - FUCK HEARTHSTONE!!
