- Having played the title role in 2006’s “Superman Returns,” actor Brandon Routh is no novice at playing superhero. In the TV series “Legends of Tomorrow,” he portrays Ray Palmer, aka the Atom, a scientific genius who can shrink to subatomic size. He talks about the show’s season finale and his 3-year-old son, who he says likes to play superheroes too!

@@brown_rice1935 Routh was the wooden one. He did an okay Christopher Reeve impression, which he was most likely instructed to do, but without the charm of Reeve. He barely even had much screen time as Superman, almost as if Bryan Singer didn't trust his abilities so he played it safe. Cavill was given the chance to show more range as Supes regardless of what you think of Man Of Steel.

CW kind of sucks but for me i read comics of New 52 so i understand it and Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill is not a bad Superman , shame for Superman Returns Squeal was be Cancelled . Because for a Comic Book fan of Superman i really need more and Lex Luthor stories was kind of bit boring , will the squeal can change the world if Superman Returns 2 happen at 2009 but for me i understand the different . I want Three more Henry Cavill Superman stories and Superman Returns could be much better if Superman have more moment , of flying and the movement from Superman For Tomorow Comics . Brandon Routh is a great Actor but for me Henry Cavill is the best one , will be much better if Brandon Routh get two Superman movies at past few year will be awesome .
