Its really cool from a doylist point of view, its real neat, tho thinking about it wattsonianly, I can only imagine link thinking,"why did I build it like this???" While getting absolutely soaked 😂

The depths feel like the same 90% of time, the skyes are a waste of time and the overworld is basically the same we've had in BOTW. How Nintendo managed to fail fail that much after making such an amazing world in BOTW is beyond me

I love nintendo gimmicks like that game because I grew up playing games like spirit tracks. I was surprised that I actually liked phantom hourglass even more when I finally played it :)

I dunno if it was MEANT to, but this area of the game gave me HUGE Spirit Tracks nostalgia, jus the train tracks and then trying to shoot targets brought me right back to my childhood
yeah I found this out the hard way lol, you can sacrifice some of the locomotive parts for a lore accurate cannon car in the back but it shoots directly into the cab each time imao
man, MAAAAAAAAN, you have no idea how much i would love an actual world-spanning rail system in TOTK. i might be the only person on the planet who loved spirit tracks, hauling cargo and people all across the land, and doing that in a game as big and expansive as TOTK would have been amazing. hell, put a rail in the underground and let us fight the demon train!
This was a delight to watch. I particularly loved the clever use of the frost emitter as the smoke pipe. Makes me want a whole train system to return in a future Zelda game.
Absolute S tier design. 10/10, awesome 8-2-8 configuration. It really looks like a true steam engine. I just wish there were more rails in the game to use this on!

There are way more creative videos about TOTK, mind blowing as this one. This is not my first time seeing train making and running in this game. People have just made a shinny Christmas tree in Totk. This game is insane. Unfortunately, the majority totk creation videos are not within the English speaking community and not on CZcams.😢

My day is made. Still haven’t had a chance to play Tears of The Kingdom but I’ve stayed away from every single video of it to avoid spoilers. No matter the cost. That is until now. Spirit Tracks was the gateway Zelda game for me. As a young kid I loved trains so when my aunt offered to let me play a game about trains I gave it a shot. That single action shaped so much about me as a person. If not for Spirit Tracks I probably never would have gotten into Zelda games or Medieval-esk games at all. And that’s saying a lot since my favorite game now is Dark Souls and my favorite book series is berserk, etc. Crazy man. Anyways nice video idk how any of the modding scene works, not do I recognize half of what’s modded onto that train, but I just wanted to let you know you made my day.
Dude this was is so fucking cool. Spirit tracks is a game I have not thought about for a long time. The only thing its missing is an annoying NPC in the back getting mad that you're speeding through stop signs.
One of my favorite Zelda games, and no I won’t apologize. Loved the DS games, incredible music, loved the reuse of the Windwaker style, and just so much creativity
I love Spirit Tracks so much. It was the second Zelda game I completed after Windwaker. Altough there are other games in the series that are probably "better" it will always have a special place in my heart.
Awesome, that is so cool. Also finally a video where the thumbnail wasn't exaggerated. It was literally what was in the video. The extra items in the carts like wood and stabilizers was a nice touch. It wasn't needed but it works perfectly. Great video :D
So, I only just realized I could build a train, and built a seven car train with a steering stick and four fans. Makes me upset there isn't more tracks in the game, frankly.

The spirit tracks over world theme is a close second behind wind waker’s for my all time favorite Zelda over world themes
My only problem with this is how little hearts he has but how much energy and resources he has
